This charming B&B is among those rare places where a sense of ease washes over you the moment you step inside. Irene, the owner, embodies exceptional care and warmth as a host, accompanied by her delightful companions, Bambi (dog) and Nikita (cat), her two lovable pets. Anticipating her breakfast every morning is an absolute delight, akin to the experience of indulging in a lavish meal at a luxurious 5-star hotel. Additionally, there is a rooftop deck where guests can relax and relish the breathtaking views of Signa. Without a doubt, this place receives the highest recommendations.

Locating the place can be somewhat challenging. It may be beneficial to provide travelers with a map for easier navigation. Moreover, it's worth noting that the presence of steep inclines could pose difficulties, particularly for those with physical limitations.

L’Orologio was the best B&B I ever stayed in. It is located at the top of a hill within the walls of the old medieval town of Signa. Although very high up it’s easy to get about if you like walking. My husband and I discovered little alleyways which took us to the main town and slowly made it back up despite me being totally unfit. For those wanting to travel to Florence the town has a regular train service so there is absolutely no need to move your car once is parked. The owner is very happy to pick you up or drop you off should you want to get about. The B&B itself is a medieval building that has been adapted to modern living. Is fresh and airy, very clean, exquisitely decorated and very welcoming. The room we had had plenty of space, lots of storage and a window overlooking the hill and the bathroom was also very modern and clean.. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with lots of choice. But the best for us was the host Irene. We had the most warming welcome on our arrival and we actually felt like part of the family. Irene is kind and extremely knowledgeable about all the goes on in the area and has recommended a few very good restaurants to us. We are already planning our next stay in this beautiful B&B

I made a very good choice of staying at B&B L'Orologio in Signa, on the outskirts of Florence. B&B L'Orologio exceeded my expectations in many ways. Signa train station is a few minutes walking distance and then it's only a 20-minute train ride to Firenze City Center. The villa itself is located within the medieval "Il Castello di Signa" complex. It is very clean and well-maintained with breathtaking views of the hills and the surrounding beautiful villages. WiFi system has been working so efficiently both at the first floor and the rooms upstairs without any interruption. The roof terrace also provides magnificent views of the surrounding areas, including the city of Florence and its Duomo as well. Irene, the host, is super friendly and helpful in every way. What I enjoyed the most was having the delicious breakfast at the round table with other guests of the villa. It was interesting to meet and have conversations with returning guests at the breakfast roundtable. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at this villa. For the first time at booking.com I felt the need to submit a review. I give Irene 10 at every category.

Irene is the most amazing host. She goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they want and need. The view from the B&B is amazing (especially the sunrise). Everything is comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. Strongly recommended!

You will need to take a lot of stairs to get to the property. Irene was very kind to give me rides from the station, but you may want to coordinate ahead of time if you have mobility issues. I would still stay given how wonderful everything is (especially Irene).

My first impression of the room was spotless clean and stylish. We were well prepared for the parking after reading the review and received advices from the lovely host Irene. We parked the car near Signa Train station where the parking place is very spacious and free of charge. Signa station is 17 min to Florence center and 8 minute walking distance to B&B. What’s more, a delicious breakfast was freshly tailor-made for your needs. Last but not least, you can expect good recommendations from Irene who is such a kind lady to have a pleasant conversation and share lots of traveling advices. I would highly recommend this B&B to whom enjoys city trips to Florence by train and wants to stay quietly.

This was our first trip to Tuscany and first station on our small roundtrip. We couldn't have done better. Irene is such a super-nice host, the place was lovely and the breakfast a great way to start the day. The rooms are specical and have everything you need and a bit more. The view was outstanding. Next time we will check out the roof terrace. You can easily reach the train station to Florence or Pisa ( as long as you have no problem going uphill) - the best way to got especially to Florence.

Nothing. Yes - when you come by car the small roads and parking are challenges but we read the previous comments and were prepared. And there was always a parking slot in short walking distance.

Very clean, very neat and amazingly decorated room and dining area. Our breakfast was of our choice and every day it was fresh, tasty and well prepared. The villa itself was at a great location, ideal for evening walks and had an amazing view of Signa. Our host, Irene, was the most welcoming and warm person, so it was a pleasure. We hope that the next time we see each other the printer will still be working! Overall, we spent an amazing time and have left with great memories in our hearts.

This accommodation far exceeded my expectations. The care of the hostess, Irene, was outstanding and after a week’s stay I honestly consider her my friend. The property is beautiful and the price is a value. Access into Florence and Pisa is a breeze with the nearby train station. But what made this stay so wonderful overall was the host, Irene. She is a beautiful, genuine person who cares for her guests and offers a very high level of hospitality. What a gem!

Irene is a very nice host, friendly and helpful. The place is a bit outside of Florence, but has a beautiful view and is situated at the top of a hill in a calm neighborhood. The train from Florence main station is the best way to connect to the city. We were also happy about the private bathroom that came with our room type.

Train schedule to be minded

For me personally having breakfast together with everybody at Irene's round table in her living room was a charming experience itself. And still the beautifully designed rooms and their bathrooms are a heart warming option to leave crowded Firenze behind and just stay at l'Orologio to relax. Also at the roof terrace with the wonderful view across the Toscana hills. I felt very well taken care of and enjoyed everybody's company aswell as the time on my own. Thank you so much Irene! (She even gave me a ride to the pharmacy and spent a nice few afternoon hours in the shopping center there with us <3 )
