good location close to shopping mall and highway , very good for 1 night

Property location it was good as i was traveling to Amalfi and only stayed for the night.

Restaurant its like canteen but little bit expensive like portion of potato cost 5 euros but when it came it was like one chopped potato😂😂. Also breakfast it look very poor.. no fruits but we are in Italy… Also selection of food its like nothing to choose from as on my travel to Italy i have stayed over night in Brno and breakfast there was 100 times better when in this hotel….

It was affordable and the staff was helpfull and friendly. The facilities was clean and comfortable.

I booked for a couple, but found only one 1 towel with no hand towel in the bathroom. I know that i could just have asked for an extra one, but only found out there is just 1 towel when we got out of the shower. The location is also not ideal for traveling, since you have to make 2 switches with bus travel (if you know the bus system). And if you need a taxi it must come from Florence and they charged us €20 before we even got in.

The hotel looked a bit bleak from the outside, but the rooms were nice and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and responded to our messages quickly. Breakfast was in a big room with lots of people but was absolutely fine with a good selection and staff there were also friendly. Location is close to the airport.

The beds were not the most comfortable.

Nice place to stay for one night along the road. A very special thanks to the waiter at the breakfast. I hurt my back very very bad during packing of the car, and the waiter helped out with everything he could! Special thanks to him. Hope he gets a big bonus and raise! That Italian hospitality from the waiter is the best I have ever met in Italy!

The location is quite convenient. Room is comfortable and spacious. There is a working desk and ample power points. Friendly and warm staffs from reception and cafeteria. Will strongly recommend this place.

The Lift is slow and not functioning properly. Tried to access to our level on the 2nd day of our stay, but the lift doors keep opening after closing and managed to get to our room level after the 6th tries.

Breakfast is amazing. The Gate Hotel is located near the highway and it is better to have a car. Otherwise, you can call a taxi (costs 18 Euro) from neatest the T2 airport or you can take BUS 28 to Volpaia (last stop) and walk for 35 mins to Hotel.

Limitation of location and pay for the Taxi

Large, comfortable room with air-con. Good breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Access seemed complicated but Google maps got me straight there. Car park system explained on their website: you take a ticket at the entrance and just before leaving the receptionist will put it through the machine and hand it back so you can get out of car park.

Stefano at the front desk was a gentleman he was very accommodating and helped with so much, reviews I read online said the staff weren’t that nice but I thought otherwise they truly made the experience great.

the location, I didn’t realise how far away from the city centre it was so it was my fault
