Hotel Villa Schuler

The views from our room were breathtaking! The room itself was also neatly presented and felt quite spacious with the very high ceilings. The staff were also very friendly and professional - they have been very kind and helped with activities and dinner reservations, as well as helping us sort out a last minute transfer to the airport when our flight was rerouted. The hotel also has a lovely and relaxing garden area. Breakfast was also amazing! In general, I also thought the hotel was perfectly located if you want to explore the city centre of Taormina as everything was at walking distance from the hotel.

I wish there was a pool in the hotel, but then again staff can help with shuttle buses to nearby beach clubs if you fancy a swim

The hospitality of the staff, they welcome us with warmth and they were very helpful and informative about the city, and its attractions. They know the city and the best restaurants, and their recommendations were amazing. The hotel was wonderful with an amazing private garden that you could lose yourself in it for hours. The location of the hotel was perfect near the center of the city everything is within walking distance. To top it of with the breakfast terrace with a view of the sea.

That the air conditioning stops if something is open, for example a window or balcony. Further, it has mosquito.

Location, facility and cleanness is spotless, view from our balcony was wonderful. Bed was super comfortable. Restaurant view exceptional. With kettle in the room, the hotel would be my favourite one.

The only missing in the room was a kettle and a fridge. For such a hotel it should not be a lack. Specially in summer cold water and in winter hot drink is a must. Besides, I think 22 euro for car parking (we just let it for a night) is a bit expensive, to take into consideration that those are clients of the hotel, it can be more reasonable.

The location is perfect, central but also quiet, one staircase brings you to Corte Umberto, another to the pubic gardens. The hotel has so many beautiful spaces - the breakfast terrace, rooftop, the lovely garden with fish and turtles, our rooms had sea views which were gorgeous, but I’m sure the garden view rooms are also wonderful because the gardens are so lovely. The staff was excellent - from Andrea (of the family that owns the hotel), to the wonderful bartender Marco, Christian and Luca who helped at breakfast, and Elena and Mariangela who gave us recommendations and were able to book us on last minute tours - everyone was wonderful. My mother had a small fall on the steps outside and the staff took such good care of her, ran right outside and gave her ice, offered to call a doctor - they were amazing. We would be back again in a heartbeat.

Nothing. Perfect stay

A family boutique hotel with beautiful view to the see and small botanic garden. The staff is so fresh and helpful willing to help 24 hrs , rooms are traditionally styled with clean bathroom and limited amenities . All rooms are prepared with fruit basket and limone biscuits gift and drink.the location is on the center you need to use about 50 steps stairs and you’ll be there .

If you are very sensitive to noise rooms are noisy you can hear everything in corridors and surrounding rooms which is not comfortable. But as the staff and hotel have other advantages we neglected this part .

It has a beautiful location probably unsurpassed. This family run hotel is reasonably small (36 rooms ) and has been perfectly maintained in all areas. The private garden for guests is wonderful as are the other public areas. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly and eager to make your stay memorable. The bedrooms are well equipped - we would have liked tea/coffee facilities in room , albeit you could order these via room service. No in house restaurant other than for breakfast, but there is a huge choice within a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast is excellent with varied options available and you can dine inside or on the terrace.

Hotel Villa Schuler is sublime! Perfect location, a beautiful hotel, immaculately presented, stunning views, lovely breakfast on the terrace, a very cute turtle family in the garden but the highlight was definitely the staff. They are outstanding - friendly, obliging and very efficient. The hotel is managed exceptionally well and is a credit to the owners. Beds are very comfortable. We will be back and would recommend highly.

Not a single thing to dislike

A beautiful charming old Villa/property offering magnificent views of Mount Etna. Located close to centre but in a quiet location. The property has parking at an additional cost but this was great for us to have the car right near us rather than parking in the public car park which is a bit of a distance from the centre. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. We were travelling with our 16 year old son and he was accommodated very comfortably in our room. We hope to one day return.

Nothing not to like. It was fabulous. A pool would be awesome but we knew when we booked there wasn't a pool.

Beautiful well kept classic hotel with amazing views! I love all the architectural details but specially the garden! Congrats to whoever keeps it! Staff was really nice and acommodating as well! The terrace is perfect for breakfast and a glass of wine eod.

I wish the breakfast was included on the price of my stay. But amazing breakfast nothing to complain about it!

excellent place: the view in the pictures is real! just sitting on the veranda and watch and relax, or have the great breakfast. Mr Schuler cares personally about everything. His story and the story of the hotel is exceptional and make you feel that you as a guest is part of this family tradition. The service is perfect. The valet parking helps so much and worth every Euro. easy access right to the town center from the back gate. we stayed six days at the Villa Garden and enjoyed the many facilities. no sea view . we enjoyed the so special view in the terrace and during breakfast and coffee breaks. We thank the Schuler family (family includes the staff) for contributing to our great time in Sicily.
