We arrived by train from Palermo at Taormina-Giardini train station and then just couldn't figure how to get to Taormina city by bus. Every bus didn't seem to stop there, no-one was around to ask for help, so last resort it was a taxi. But, that was great as it took us around the twist-turny roads, the one-way and to the street where Casa Cifali was. From the outside, Casa Cifali looks great. Very pretty, well-maintained, and a superb location. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Dawn had contacted us previously on WhatsApp with helpful directions, etc. Our bedroom was light and had an adjoining large bathroom with a lovely shower. All very well maintained and clean I must say. Breakfast was continental and with some of Dawn's homemade conserves - very nice! Best of all, we ate outside in the small courtyard / garden area adorned with bushes, flowers. For us, the location was perfect to go exploring Taormina and farther afield. We walked everywhere even though it's a wee bit hilly (an understatement) which some people may find tough-going. All I can say, is get fitter before you visit Taormina! It's a lovely city, has some superb restaurants - we tried a couple recommended by the hosts including a non-tourist, "locals" one. That was superb. Overall, we would definitely recommend Casa Cifali as it suited our budget, was situated in a very accessible place and easy to walk everywhere, had superb hosts, and was a gorgeous place to stay! Oh, and we walked / hiked back down to the train station at the end of our 3 days stay. Gotta be pretty fit!!!

Great Location. Dawn was very helpful in giving us the directions we needed to find he property once we arrived in Taormina, she even gave us a little list of restaurants & bars etc. that they recommended nearby which was a great help. The breakfast each morning was lovely Dawn & Massimo were both there to help with any questions or even just for the chat which made our stay so much more relaxed. We hope to return to Taormina in the future as it is such a beautiful place and would definitely be booking Casa Cifali on our return visit. Thank you Dawn & Massimo.

This is the first time in my life that I couldn’t even wait to leave a place to write a review as I’m typing this from the train station. I’ve traveled to lots of places around the world and stayed at lots of B&B. Casa Cifali is simply the best I’ve ever stayed at. I couldn’t have asked a more perfect home-away-from-home while I was visiting Taormina and the experience was truly wonderful. First of all, you can’t beat the location of Casa Cifali. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action happening in town and all major attractions are within minutes’ of walking distance; second, the place itself is just so beautiful: immaculately renovated and tastefully decorated with a terrace where I enjoyed my delicious breakfast every morning under the grape vines; last but not the least, the hosts Dawn and Massimo are such genuinely kind, caring and generous people who went the extra mile to assure that my stay was memorable and magical. I already miss them!

Fantastic place to stay in central Taormina, in a quiet street close to all the best restaurants and sights in town. The B&B was really clean, quiet and super comfortable, and the hosts Massimo and Dawn were incredibly sweet and helpful, catering for all our needs, helping us organise day trips out and airport transfers, and even treating us to some unexpected prosecco and sweets for a local holiday. We loved everything about this stay!

Wonderful little B&B with lovely Sicilian/American hosts. Comfortable, pretty rooms, and lovely terrace for sitting out for breakfast. Good selection at breakfast (not buffet, so you don't over-stuff yourself!). Good location in the main (hill) area of Taormina, easy walk to the bus-stop (where the shuttle from the car-park drops you off), the main street, and a stone's throw from the botanical garden and close to the amphitheatre.

No view, but lots of lovely ones nearby!

Although everything is central in Taormina, this B&B stands out since there is no tourists noise during the summer season. It's a 2-minute walk to the center but during the night it's peaceful and silent. One big plus is being within close distance to the bus station which someone might find useful. The apartment has multiple room units and you can expect to have neighbors. Hosts take care you feel welcome in their company and in their home. They are delightful and have great English speaking skills.

Shower seems really narrow even for a small and slim person. The fridge is locked probably because of outdated COVID reasons.

My stay at Casa Cifali has been nothing short of incredible. The B&B is very well-positioned - only couple of streets from the main high street and many attractions like the ancient Greek theatre and public garden within a short walking distance. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with a king-sized bed, and equipped with everything one might need during the stay (blackout blinds, hair dryer, A/C, toiletries). The dining area outside is absolutely stunning under the canopy of vines and decorated with beautiful Sicilian ceramic tiles. Breakfasts served here every morning were excellent too with freshly baked croissant, homemade jam, cheese, juice and fresh fruits. But the real selling point for me was the hosts, Massimo & Dawn, who were incredibly hospitable and helpful during my stay here. They were incredibly accommodating with everything - from early check-in to an unexpected health scare I had one evening when they helped getting me to a local hospital. I will definitely be staying with Massimo and Dawn again when I next visit Taormina and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

The terrace outside gave it a real cosy feeling where you enter the b&b. The location just 1 street away from everything. Great homemade jam. Good map of the city. Great tips that the owners give you for eat/drinks. Shiatsu massage possible. Owner is certified.

There was not really something to not like. I’m sure we can all find something if we look for it. But why do that. Such a waste of everyones time.

Very nice room with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Safe for valuables available in the wardrobe. Pretty terraced area at the front of the property which is in a quiet location, a short walk from main attractions and easily accessible from the bus stop. Great to be given restaurant/travel recommendations around the area (information sheet regarding local shops/banks etc also left in the room) by the hosts, Dawn & Massimo, who also allowed access to a drinking water tap, tea/coffee facilities and microwave in the kitchen. Cooking classes, wine tasting and zen shiatsu sessions also available on request. Breakfast was served by Dawn to the table: croissant, roll, jam/spread, 2 slices of local cheese, honey, yoghurt, piece of fruit, fruit juice and coffee/tea. They also kindly prepared a packed breakfast on the second morning, due to an early departure before 08:30. Hosts stayed in the kitchen chatting to guests throughout the meal. Overall a pleasant stay in a lovely part of Sicily.

Breakfast was tasty and would be better if more of a spread were available (perhaps including cereal and more fruit) as the set-up of being served individual items didn't enable further helpings. On reflection, it would be appropriate to have translated copies of the GDPR paperwork the hosts wanted guests to sign at check-in.

The BnB is in an excellent location,two minutes from the center on foot without being affected by the hustle and bustle of the city center. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard of the building was delightful. But the most important thing for us was the hospitality of Massimo and Dawn where they helped us a lot during our trip in Sicily Thanks you very much for this wonderful stay experience!! We highly recommend it. We will be back for sure!!!
