Villa Eva Hotel & Beach has it ALL: a spectacular location; elegant finishing in rooms and corridors; great facilities (from the vast terraces in every room with the amazing views to the private pebble beach, pool area and elegant bar and restaurant) that make it impossible not to relax and, if only for a moment, forget about your worries (I did… And I would have thought it impossible!). And then there’s the staff: the finest, most professional and genuinely helpful people you’ll ever meet! We are so grateful to them… Grazie mille! Value for money? I still can’t believe we paid what we paid, got what we got… and all with a hearty and delicious breakfast, to boot! This place made the 3200 km (all round) drive from where we live worth every aching minute and every drop of fuel!

Clean, quiet hotel with a nice breakfast. Large room with a desk and chair as well as a sofa. Comfortable bed, plenty of space around the sink to set toiletries, fabulous shower with a large stall, good pressure, lots of hot water and a handy shelf for soap and shampoo. Fast wifi, easy parking. Nice to have air conditioning in October as some hotels turn it off after the summer. Short walk to several good restaurants and a large grocery store. Reasonable price compared with other area lodging. Serena at reception was very welcoming and helpful.

Everything was great. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

The hotel itself is in a charming location, beyond the commercial bustle of Ventimiglia itself. Apart from a winning location, with a charming view of the villa-dotted hillside and the sea, the bedrooms are spacious, pleasant and modernised, the external corridors tastefully done in parquet. WiFi worked well while breakfast proved better than expected. Not only is the hotel excellent value for money but it complements its sister hotel, Eva Beach Hotel, which is virtually next-door, smaller, more romantic and more upmarket, and set right on the beach. This sister hotel is run by friendly, young staff and offers an excellent (and well-priced) menu, primarily based on seafood but the chef is ready to cook "off-menu" if needed.

A relatively minor point but, while the bathroom is spacious, the shower itself could do with modernisation. International travellers would also appreciate international tv channels. Also good to add more local information in the lobby and to ensure that guests know about the good restaurant in the sister hotel on the beach. These are minor quibbles to what is a pleasant, well-located, extremely good-value hotel in a border-town area not known for its decent hotels.

Value for money, very close to the beach, that in 200m it also got a swimming pool and a restaurant (A différent owner perhaps has it, but you get a discount for the sunbeds when you stay at the hotel).. Big parking is also available for customers. We were happy with our stay that we wanted to extend it a bit but the hotel was really booked. For sure I would consider it again in our next visit.

For a 3 star hotel I couldn't expect more than it provided to us.

The room is furnished very well and the view is great. Eventhough, we booked the room with a mountain view, we had also a sea view (corner room :)) The staff is really kind and helpful. We also appreciated the possibility of free private parking in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was kind of poor with limited choice, e.g. there was no vegetables. On the other hand, the pastries were fresh and crusty. As a result, there is a space for improvement.

They take your credit card details (including CVC code) and write them on a piece of paper for “security” reasons. Anyone working at the reception can copy the details and shop online. Explained that many people did damage to the hotel and got away. When we arrived there we had 3 towels in the room and good thing that we asked at the reception to check the room before leaving, otherwise they would charge our card for the 4th towel we did not have from the start. Luckily we had our suitcases there and opened them to show that we did not steal a towel.

Very nice hotel close to the beach, clean and spacious rooms. Nice staff, free parking and good breakfast. All in all a very good experience! Pool area and beach were lovely!

Just a few tiny things, like our safe didn't work, we had booked sea view but it was not really full sea view like the rooms in the building front. Far from other restaurants but not a problem for us

The hotel staff and in particular the reception staff at check in were fantastic. We found them to be responsive and eager to assist when required

The staff at the restaurant/pool area were the opposite to the reception staff, they appeared bored and unhappy to be at work. We decided not to use the restaurant that night for dinner because of this.

The restaurant overlooking the sea was a cut above the simple accommodation, with its swimming pool and extensive gardens - and you can drive or walk to it from the hotel.

The breakfast was not lavish, but it was adequate. Unfortunately, we were looking forward to a swim in the pool but we were too late at 19h30 as they had just renewed the chlorine.

We booked in last minute, so wasn't really sure what to expect. In the end, the room was clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was nice.

Wifi was terrible - as far as I am concerned - this shouldn't be named wifi internet, because it simply was not working. Given the space of the bathroom, shower could be bigger.
