Aso Resort Grandvrio Hotel

The hotel is in the golf resort, located near the west Aso mountain. It is about 10 min driving distance from the downtown train station and 30 min from the Aso summit. Great location if you want to seek a quiet and peaceful experience in winter. Bath hall is at the separate building, the hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Breakfast and dinner buffet are nice. A little pricy but worthwhile.

the hotel is situated in the middle of a forest, surrounded by six storey high pine trees, the environment is so tranquilize and refreshing, you can stay here for weeks

meals were bundled with the room rate, the buffet dinner was very good, but after 3 nights of the same buffet, you would want to have a change

Designed looks like a bit old, but well maintained, clean, neat, quiet, soundproof, equipped with all necessities. Beautiful scenery outside of balcony. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of choice. Public onsen is available but i didn't have tome to go. Free parking

The bed is a bit hard but still ok to sleep.

you can’t walk on the golf course, so when at the hotel you are confined to your room essentially.

free parking buffer dinner and buffet breakfast offers different kind of food, especially the crab legs. the korean staff at the front desk speaks fluent english.... can play table tennis free of charge the hot spring is good

Great hotel, great location, clean!! excellent breakfast. The views from the dining room were amazing! I would go there again.

The twin room hadn't much room for luggage and the pillow was not kind to my neck. None of these two are a deal breaker. I would go there again.

We liked the crab buffet and drinks. The hotel is large and many accessories. Though we can't see Aso mountaun this time due to Typhoon, the view from restaurant and room would be beautiful.

Breakfast spread is good for the price, nice morning view from the room, onsen alittle old but quiet, loving it!

The breakfast is amazing. We got fancy icecream and things. The onsen is very nice, there is shampoo bar. The room has a good view.

The hotel didn’t respond the message. The price of dinner is expensive 6000/person. The staff cannot speak english. There is no double bed room, except the suite room.

For the buffet dinner, the beef was tough and chewy Onsen was very crowded, had to wait to use the shower area
