March 2024

The public bath was a very nice addition, with good toiletries. There was a bath around 40 degrees with both hot and cold taps; a cold dip bath; a vapor sauna and a (closed) stone sauna. There were also separate showers in the dormitory. Towels, pyjamas, hairbrush and toothbrush/paste are provided fresh each day. There was a locker large enough to fit a backpack in the private capsule, although if you stay multiple nights, you still return the key to the front desk when you leave between 10-3.

The quilt was a very small square. I had to sleep with it diagonal and choose whether I wanted my feet or my shoulders covered. The sheets were also quite scratchy. Although there is an eating room, nothing is provided except hot water and a microwave, so you'll need to bring your own cups, plates, cutlery etc.

I liked that they give you pajamas for your stay, as well as a towel and any toiletries you might need. The room was very clean, even though so many women stay withing the same room (each had their one capsule). The bathroom was directly connected to the room, which made it comfortable to not go through any corridors. The people at the reception desk were super nice!

Ecology-wise, would have been fine with using the same pajamas and towels for more then one night, as well as the towel and toothbrush. I furthermore, think it was bothersome to clean out the room every morning and bring my suitcases to the reception desk, to then bring up later on the day, when I came back to the hotel. Additionally. I think it is a bummer for tattooed people to not be able to use the public bath, however, I understand that that is a cultural issue, as well as combined with some governmental laws/restrictions.

Everything is very nice here, even the Powder room for the ladies. Japanese ladies spend a lot of time cleaning and treating their Faces. Staff, location, size of my Bunk room, the sauna, spa and pools to relax. The cleanness, wc, laundry, showers, security, laundry. Lovely Mattress!!!! I catched the A Red Tram outside of the train station, was 15 minutes ride to the Hotel. Close to City Hall Mall Cost ¥180 per ride. There are 2 trams The A RED B BLUE depends were you go.

No Kitcken facilities to cook Has a nice big room to eat, only with a Small Microwave and a Urn for hot water. Not a Sitting Room to relax over a Cup of Tea. We can not eat on the Bunk Rooms. This is a BIG HOTEL It can be Provide more facilities .

Hotel staff kind Central position, 15 mins away on foot from Sakuramachi bus terminal Central for restaurants and night life They have a onsen ^^ They helped me when we needed medicines They let us use the facilities on 3rd floor due to an emergency situation at work It is clean It is so cheap for the quality offered that imho, if you wanna travel and save money, it is a must

I m taller than 1.90m, so I had some pain in the morning in those beds You have to keep your backpack either in the capsule with you or in the lockers, but for men they are on 1st floor No facilities on common area such as paper glasses or other amenities, but you can get hot water there No showers on men's floors No English speaking staff (but they will help you in any possible way, so I would recommend that place)

Elevator took me to the 8th floor. A basket filled w pajamas, packaged towel, tooth n hair brush. Bath n shower well equipped. Use of sauna. Hot water n microwave in common area but no cup provided if u want to make ur own tea n coffee

The young girl at the counter in the am had a terrible attitude. She spoke little English n treated me rude n rough. According to her, we aren’t allowed to store luggage aft check out whereas the young man on duty at the counter the previous night told me contradictory to what she said.

I fully expected a small cramped room (even when I booked the double) because in my experience, budget hotel tends to not have that much room, especially one with capsule styled room too. The room was very spacious and clean, loads of space for and my suitcase to still be comfortable.

I don't like that I have to place the key on the receptionist when I go out, even if I'm just going to the convenience store nearby. The breakfast is also very basic, and often time cold when plated. I stayed for three days and the breakfast didn't change that much quality, quantity, or type wise. There's also no dust bin for the coffee machine so you have to carry the discarded sugar and creamer pods with you to the table.

This place was far above my expectation. I stayed in a 'capsule' but was very spacious, almost a little private room! The place was not very full so very quiet, bathroom facilities clan and you find everything you need, then available for the guest the onsen of the hotel, so nice! 2 times I was completely alone , very relaxing! Breakfast was also good. The hotel has a very nice location, closeby bus stop and like 30 mins walking from the train station. I really enjoyed Kumamoto and this place is absolutely worth the price!

Staff has a very poor english, they were very nice to me but I had to ask for couple of things and all the times was really hard to understand each others. Slippers available for the guests of the capsule area! Insane uncomfortable! Ahaha I had my own so I didn't really use them, but they were uncomfrotable and noisy so when people were walking around they were always making so much noise! Also true that some of them were very careless, but those slippers were making their part. Not a big deal anyway.

Appreciate their staff allow me to keep my baggage until late night even I have checked out. The facilities is complete and make me feel comfortable. The breakfast is just simple and nice.

The only suggestion is they could renovate/ beautify their balcony to allow the guest to get some fresh air from outdoor.

The location was very central-- close to a ton of shopping and restaurants. The female capsules were more spacious than I expected and largely very comfortable. The hotel was not crowded and so was pleasantly quiet. The bathroom facilities were shared but were very clean and the shower was large with great water pressure and temperature.

The capsule got a little warm at night, but I think that's pretty standard.

The hotel met my expectations, close to several restaurants and tourist attractions, as well as easy to reach by street car from the JR station. The room (private twin room) was spacious with a rain shower and all the necessary amenities. The hotel also have a public bath facility for men and another for women, free of charge.

Our room had breakfast included, but to be honest the breakfast was quite poor.
