Shin Yokohama Grace Hotel

The room have a good ventilation to air out the bed. Also, it is nice that lobby/elevator can accomodate guest even there is an event on function rooms. The receptionist answered all my queries regarding early check out and other amenities. They also do house cleaning as per request and toiletries were replenished everyday. Trash is being collected everyday. They have warm seats, bidets and bathtub have handles.

Color of light on the room, it is fine to have yellow light on lamps to have a cozy atmosphere during night but it is nice to have a white light on the main room. Also, if possible windows can be open fully or half-open. I know they made this way for guest safety, but it helps the room to be breathable.

The hotel is very close to Shin Yokohama station so it's an easy few minutes walk. The beds were slightly less firm than our other hotels and the pillows much softer so that was great after 3 weeks of very firm beds and pillows. The room was one of the biggest we stayed in, so much easier to open our two suitcases and, as was the case in all our hotels, it was spotlessly clean. All in all very comfortable.

For a hotel of this calibre we were surprised that the wallpaper was splitting in a couple of areas and it was the only hotel of the 6 we stayed in that did not provide us with a free bottle of water! We got used to expecting that everywhere. Also the temperature of the shower water kept turning from hot to cold.

This was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many hotels all over Japan. The location next to Shin-Yokohama Station really can't be beat. A block away was a free bus to go to Ikea which I totally enjoyed. There was also a lot of really good places to eat within seconds of the hotel. The staff was great and I would consider the room I had to to be massive compared to the size of most hotels I stay at in Japan.

I loved it all. This place was fantastic and I am honestly thinking of staying here more often of the opportunity presents itself. I travel to Japan a lot but rarely to Yokohama. This might have to change.

Location was great. The room was clean and comfortable but a bit small. Being able to pick up newspapers was a great service. It would have been better to have a place to open suitcases.

Not having an actual closet was tough for a long stay. Also, the laundry machines didn't dry clothes completely so I had to hung them in the bathroom which made it difficult. I wish I had been able to do laundry more often.

very near to Shin-Yokohama station, clearn, good wifi, stay overall okay and better as some other hotels in same place nearby that I have also tried in past years. not expensive and therefore good value for money.

englsih skills of staff are not the best, some employees are okay for minimum communication required, some no skills, but in the end it was ok to manage the few necessary things for a short stay

Breakfast is nice. Able to enjoy authentic Japanese dishes. Great location. 3 minutes walk from the train station Price is ok. Not quite expensive.

Laundry machine set at the hotel wont be opened during the middle is the process once you put the start button. Meaning if you select laundry and drying process at the machine, need to wait 2 hours. Not label to stop during the middle.

We really appreciate the location very near to malls just a walk away, their japanese food breakfast is so delicious and authentic, the hotel is really exquisite, we love this hotel, we'll definitely be back again ☺️😁

Super close to the Shin Yokohama station with an accessible JR Station to travel to other areas. Plenty shopping and dining in the surrounding areas.

Front entrance was a but confusing in the beginning.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the Shinkansen station. It is usually used for events and weddings, so the lobby is nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and efficient.

I found a long hair near the bed lamp. It was not too bad, but the cleaning stuff could have been a bit more careful. The toilet and the bath tub were clean.

Located in the city with good transportation facility. Staff have been very helpful.

The Japanese Restaurant and Cafe/Lounge require pre-booking even though they are pretty empty when I tried visiting both. Hotel unable to change international currency.
