Hotel Plaza Kobe

Great hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. They went the extra mile and helped me make a reservation for the bus back to Osaka-Kansai airport. Facilities were clean and well maintained, very comfy room and bed. Toiletries and other amenities were on a table at the front desk, so you could grab all you needed, anytime. Breakfast was spot on! Great buffet with many different options, both Western and Asian. The location is great, just one block or so away from the bus stop and the train station. Congratulations to the staff and manager. This is what hotel experience should be.

Maybe have a few international cable TV options.

The view from my room was amazing! I was on the 11th floor and could see the entire port. The room itself was spacious, the bathroom as well. There was a fridge, a huge tv, actually anything you need. The bed was big as well. Perfect!

Nothing to complain about. I was happy with everything at the hotel. Just the location is a bit off, but you know that before you book it and the connection to the island is very good. You almost never have to wait more than a few minutes if you want to ride to Kobe.

Good value for money, the room was wide (for japanese standards), place is very quiet. You'll bee on Rokko island, to reach the mainland you'll need to take the Rokko train. staff is always kind in japan but here you'll find more. breakfast is very rich.

I have visited a lot of business type hotel in Japan. This one is excellent value. Highly recommend and do get the double bed. A lot of biz hotels in Japan have sandbag like pillows; not here. Pillows very nice.

it is of course not downtown Kobe. if Rokko is you destination, certainly recommend. I was on floor 12 I think. it was stated as “ocean view” but it was hard to see as there was an 11 floor building just in front.

Nice enough hotel. Quiet and peaceful location. Rooms are a good size.

Dated decor throughout. Price of on-site restaurant is very expensive. The marine island area is deadly quiet on the weekend with nothing to do.

The view was amazing! We booked a twin room but somehow got upgraded to a gigantic suite. It was like an apartment! Everything worked well and looked newly renovated.

Not much to do around but have couples of good restaurants nearby. Location is a bit out of town,there's direct bus to Shannomiya and Shin Kobe Station but only 1 or 2 every hour.

Well worth checking in here. Prices are very reasonable and the rooms are immaculate. All of the amenities you need are at the front desk for your picking! Great place.

Wifi could be a bit slow in the evenings but was good during the day. Location probably not so great for Sannomiya if you are on business but if you want the water park in the summer, then this is the hotel to be.
