HOTEL BRILLER Kyoto Station South

The property is just 5 minutes walk from Kyoto Station and that by itself is value for money. Kyoto Station by itself is wonderful and then there is JR Kyoto ISETAN!!! There are so many eateries nearby and we strongly recommend Coco Ichibanya (Coco Curry House) which is just around the corner. Of course, have to mention that the hotel provides Movie On Demand (free) which offers a variety of entertainment especially for non-Japanese visitors. And for the bonus, free coffee at the reception area :)

Location is very good. Hotel is very clean. Some of the staff members speak English. Relatively quiet place. Although it is near the Kyoto station.

Bads smell in the hallway at least in 3rd floor where I stayed. When you enter the hotel AC is set to lowest setting it felt like it was 18 degrees celsius although outside is very hot. Also, I couln't find how to pour hot water from the machine. It would be great if that machine had english instruction nearby.

Location 3 min from kyoto station & airport bus limousine. Have staff can talk chinese. Alot of bed can fit 5 pax. Free drink, laundry, facial wash package, etc at lobby. Mattress comfy

No extra pillow. Only 1 pillow per bed. My room 3 queen and 1 single for 5 pax. But only 4 pillow, when asked for extra pillow, they said dont have. Bathroom so small. Room size consider ok. Not so big.

The people were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel's proximity to the station is a big plus and the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and always with a big smile!

Not allowing a late check out and Smell of cigarettes sometimes permeates the lobby as the smoking area is just right next to the information/check in desk.

Location was very close to Kyoto station which was very nice. Property was kept very clean and staff was friendly. Surrounding area was very nice as well and was close to one of the best curry places I've ever had.

Room was a good size for 1 person, could be a little tight for two. While the room layout allows enough space to open one big luggage, it could be a little tight if you need to open two luggages.

Great staff who are very friendly! It is also very convenient to check in and out using a machine. The walking space in the hotel room was also pleasantly wide!

The restroom is very small, so it is hard to sit on the toilet comfortably. The bed as well didn't have a great back rest, so it was somewhat uncomfortable to sit back on it.

location. 4 minutes to main station. gave us umbrella’s on a day it rained. super accommodating.

clothing dryer machine takes about 3 hours to dry clothes.

good location.. in between osaka station and a nearby subway.. the room is big enough for 2 people with big suitcases.. clean and spacious.. self check-in and check-out which is awesome.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We checked in almost 12 midnight but there was no problem. The staff accommodated us kindly and even gave us a bigger room, bigger than what we have booked. We are very happy!
