Tmark City Hotel Sapporo Odori

I reserved a Japanese style room and was worried the bed would be firm and uncomfortable, but it's a regular mattress, just on the floor, so it was great. The room was very spacious and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful - a big buffet selection of different things each day, but always eggs and rice and things my western stomach wants in the morning. Location was about 10-12 minutes walk from nearest subway but it was on a nice quiet street, easy to get taxi/uber right out front. Would 100% stay here again.

The A/C didn't work well in my room, so it got a bit stuffy, but I never had time to ask about it, so it could have been a simple fix. This didn't happen in my friend's room.

Excellent location during Sapporo Snow Festival as you're 2 small blocks away from Odori park. A bit far from the main stations during winter but I wouldn't see an issue in any other season. Excellent temperature control inside the room even though it was snowing quite a lot during the stay.

Unluckily placed right in front of the elevators so hearing loud tourists were a common occurrence late at night. Did not get a city view as stated in the listing/booking, instead a view of a chapel outside the window. Lacking in amenities such as moisturiser and you can only get the basic amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, hair comb) replaced after cleaning service instead of being able to select what you need

Arrived at TMark Susukino but TMark Odori booked by mistake. Staff able to fix the problem with internal TMark transfer! Booked here as I needed a Soaplands bath across the road! Hotel baths in Japan are far too small for my 195cm frame Double room had good bed but small room. Good layout allowed me to store two big duffle bags and access very good shower. Coffee was good after I fixed the jammed grinder with a long wooden stirrer!! The maid was very happy!! Do I tashi mashite

Breakfast was heavily Asian with only toast, eggs and sausages. I was early and croissants had been overcooked or heated in too hot oven. But I had had a big meal of Goyza and Ramen washed down by Sapporo Black at Mandyu nearby the night before so a light breakfast was OK. Arigato Sapporo! Vene Vide Sapporo Vicit!!

This Hotel was great. We stayed for 7 nights and we had everything you need in the room. For western guests it is important to understand that the room offers the Japanese minimalistic style perfectly, as well the bathroom is of Japanese style. Meaning a Japanese Bathtub (which is shorter) while the whole room is considered a wet room, but you have a shower pole if you wish to stand for a shower, a great compromise. This Hotel is greatly located with lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities in walking distance. The stuff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and we were on the 10th floor which was really quiet. For westerners it needs to be understood that the breakfast buffet is also of Japanese nature, with no western cuisine or anything can be ordered extra. But hey, you do not travel to Japan and eat European style breakfast or food in general. I am German and survived for a week without my sausages 😉. The hotel is visited mainly by other Asian groups, mostly Chinese during our stay. I really enjoyed being the only Caucasian during our week (my wife is Japanese), but others might feel different. We highly recommend this hotel, if you are willing to compromise from your usual western day to day. You won`t be disappointed.

the location was pretty close to everything, which is convenient. The hotel was clean and had quite a bit of space which was nice. Close to malls, big shopping centres, food stores and station as well as Odori park.

the walk from the airport shuttle bus to the hotel was a little far, and dragging suitcase along the ice in the morning to the station was quite tiring so would recommend a closer location to station if you are travelling in winter.

It was in a quiet and centrally located to a lot of places we wanted to visit during the Snow Festival - very walkable and convenient to main train stations and Teine Snow/Ski Resort. The hotel staff were extremely helpful before and during the stay too, especially with shipping our snowboard bags/gear!

Everything was wonderful and exceptional about the property, and the only minor discomfort is that the pillows could’ve been a bit softer/fluffy - they were just a bit firm but ultimately still sleepable on

The staffs were Super helpful, they really taking care of all details. The hotel is just few mins walk from main shopping area with a walkable distance from JR. The breakfast was extremely good (mainly Japanese style foods I love it). The room was new and twice bigger than the hotels around JR (bathtub is also big). I am glad I chose it for the last day of my 20 days trip in Hokkaido, everything is perfect! Def come back when visiting Hokkaido!

It’s nearly perfect, if there was one thing I could mention probably the pillows were bit too high!

The location is great - just near Tanuki Koji, reataurants and shops; easy to access local rail and tram, plus airport bus. The room was comfortable and had the most comfortable beds and pillows of all the 5 hotels in our trip. The room was well designed and appointed - something that is important considering the small size of most Japanese hotel rooms (tip: try to get at least a 20m square room if 2 people want to be able to open suitcases in any Japanese hotel room). The hotel staff were delighted to provide good information and assistance. It was good value and we enjoyed the breakfast. There is more that one T Mark hotel in Sapporo - be sure to check the address so you don't go to the wrong hotel (like we did).

I would love an onsen!

The front desk staff were very kind. The room was very clean and comfortable, and extremely quiet. I stayed for two nights, and I never heard a sound. I definitely recommend the hotel, and hope to stay here again.

Not the hotel’s fault, but if you are relying on Google Maps, be aware that there’s another hotel in the city with the same name, except for the last part. Save yourself some trouble by double-checking.

One of the best hotels I stayed ever. Nice room, big, very confortable bed, breakfast really good for japanese standards. Also the staff is nice and location is perfect, really close to city center and Susukino. I would definately stay there in my next trip to Sapporo!

They rush the guests during breakfast, which goes from 6:30 to 9:30am. Maybe extend to 10:00am would make people more confortable.
