Daiwa Roynet Hotel Takamatsu

I particularly enjoyed the location; a short walk from the nearest Kotoden Station and the hotel is physically connected to the Central Takamatsu Shopping Arcades, Arriving by taxi in a rainstorm; after check-in, I was immediately able to stroll around some 2.7km of covered shopping arcades, (including luxury shops, department stores,restaurants, etc.), without the need for an umbrella. Rooms well equipped; particularly impressed by the provision of extra pillows in the room, as I need to elevate my head whilst sleeping.

No complaints at all.

Clean was so so. First day, when I tried to take a shower the bathtub had hair and a few corners as well. So they upgraded the room. The room was comfortable but the bed mattress was so so. The cleaners were very different, the first day was very good but the second day was not good which I had shared with reception. All and all, it was comfortable to stay.

The cleaning of the room. Hair was found and the second day I found a nail on the floor in the center of the room. Breakfast selection was not so many.

Staff was exceptionally polite and friendly. Location was great - right next to a major shopping road. Good access to grocery stores and convenience stores and ATMs.

The bed was so hard. It almost felt like I was sleeping on a hard floor! I got lightly bruised from the hard bed, though I will say I woke up feeling fine, and did not feel stiff, sore or achy, like with some other uncomfortable beds.

Spacious and clean room. Located in shopping district in Takamatsu with numerous restaurants and shops nearby.

Located far from any train stations, you will have to walk or take a bus to get around. Coming from street level to your room will require changing lifts on the reception level (8/F).

carpet needs a vacuüm dust all over the floor around the walls and corners strange layout… reception is on the 8th floor and then you have to take another elevator to the rooms.

For the price, it was spacious, located right on top of a shopping street, had all the amenities that one would expect from a hotel. Bed was comfortable. We couldn't ask for that much more for this price.

A bit tricky coming by car, as it was not terribly clear how/where to park your car (requires parking in the next building).

Great location. Parking in the same building. Coined laundry was a plus. And the machine washes itself for a minute before use- excellent.

Room a little small. Difficult to move around with suitcase opened. But not a big issue.

Best location in our trip in Japan so far in last 2 weeks, being only a few minutes from JR Takamatsu station.

We're rather unfortunate that Tyhoon#2 arrived in the region while we were staying. So, there wasn't much to do in the vicinity. But we enjoyed the stay in Takamatsu city.

Great location in the middle of Takamatsu! Very helpful staff and clean facilities as well. Was a great value!

A bit far from the train station, but that's more of a problem with the train station's location than the hotel's location. The hotel is still in a great spot!

Located near the shopping streets so was very easy to find food. The room was very spacious with a desk and 2 mini tables to put your suitcases. Bathroom was very spacious as well. Great value!
