Takamatsu Tokyu Rei Hotel

Two things. First, there was dust around the bed headboard area. Second, there was no instruction on the washing/drying machine that people have to be respective of the next person who wants to use the machines. It took a long time for people to pick up their finished laundry. When I went to ask the front desk staff for help, they said they cannot do anything. In Kyoto, however, the hotel I stayed at stated around the laundry area that if finished laundry are left idle for a long time, hotel staff will remove them for the convenience of the people waiting in line to use the machines.

Very good hotel in Takamatsu, just 5 minutes walk from the JR Takamatsu station where I arrived and departed from. The staff was always on hand to help and ensure a great stay. They helped me a lot with sending my suitcase forward to my next hotel with Yamato and even kept in touch afterwards to follow it up. Free amenities are provided in the lobby like toothbrushes and hairbrushes and was most useful, as well as a phone charger in the room. I didn't partake of their breakfast as I had busy days ahead but I can say the spread looked nice on pictures I saw around the hotel. There is a Family Mart convenience store right there by the hotel exit as well as a Sukiya restaurant less than 5 minutes away; both solid choices if you're hungry after a full day of sightseeing. The Ritsurin Garden is not that far walking, about 30 minutes through the arcades which conveniently start right there at the hotel. The room was of a good size, with a good city view and very clean. This hotel was all in all comfortable and secure and I had a great 3-night stay there on my own. Thank you!

Nothing, they were perfect. I had the best time in Takamatsu, Yashima, Matsuyama & Kochi with this hotel as a base.

The hotel was only a short walk from the train station and located on the main boulevard. The room was reasonably large in size and the bed was comfortable. The location was close to the covered shopping streets that extend for a considerable distance with numerous dining options. There is a fairly good breakfast buffet available at an additional cost in the restaurant downstairs.

We were only there one night so it served our purposes well.

Upon check-in, I was given a face mask & face products which are for ladies only (very typical of a Tokyu REIs property to do this). Also was told that my room was especially for "ladies only". I didn't know what that meant until I entered and discovered my room had a foot massager - which I presume is also for ladies only?? Like other newer Tokyu REIs property I stayed at, it was nice & clean. Parking entrance was easy to locate, and they have their own garage - however, if your car is too tall, you need to drive two or three blocks down to a different lot. The staff at the garage will tell you how to get there, and the rates are the same since you pay at the hotel with your room charge. The other lots' hours are between 7:30 to 23:00 though, so if you plan on leaving earlier than 8AM the next morning, you need to speak with the attendant at the other lot & the hotel staff (probably Japanese only - idk if they speak English).

The room and bathroom were very spacious and the wallpaper and lights made the room feel cozy. Everything was very clean and quiet, and the staff were all polite. The location is amazing - close to the main station and also lots of stores.

The bed was a little hard and the room was quite warm, even with the AC set to 20C and powerful. I was on the 12th floor and it was exceptionally hot while I was there, so that might have been the reason.

The hotel is well maintained and conveniently located on the bus route from Takamatsu airport (1000 Yen each way). We had a comfortable room and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from JR station, the port area and Castle ruins. Handy to some good Izakya and restaurants.

Great location near shopping and restaurants. Rooms are pretty good. Was a good stay as got a good deal.

Laundry machines quite limited n dryer not very good. We ended up going to a laundromat about 7mins walk away. If you're driving a bigger car, parking will be a distance away as the parking at the hotel itself are for smaller cars.

Great location, in the heart of Takamatsu and close to restaurants and the livelier areas of town. The room felt somewhat dated but was still very comfortable.

Staff weren't quite as welcoming as I'd experienced in other hotels in Japan, but overall I still had a very positive stay here.

Clean, appeared new. Close enough from train station, harbor, many restaurants. Safe neighborhood.

Property was fine, but direction to get to the property on website was not clear enough. Attached map does not show street names.

Friendly and helpful staff, thank you! Cozy, quiet and well-equipped room. Spacious enough to open 29-inch luggage. Great location, walking distance from train station, good restaurants and convenience store nearby.
