Hotel Posada Luna Sol

Liked the Mexican feel. Lots of colorful pots and decorations. Great to have a simple breakfast included in an attractive setting. Banditos Grill was a few steps from hotel which served great burgers and Margie’s. Mattresses were so comfortable. 10 min walk to macelon. The outdoor terrace was a great spot with comfortable seating. Great to have filtered water tank in room. Very good value for money but I would happily pay a bit extra for a more varied breakfast.

We especially chose an accommodation with a washing machine which was listed on bookings.com as being in our room. We had been traveling for two weeks heading to a wedding. No washing machine not even a communal one . Not much responsibility taken Just told there hadn’t been a washing machine since before covid. Asked if we could put one load in the commercial washer. Nope! I think it’s important that listing information is accurate. Breakfast is quite basic. One juice, two cereals, only a jam and peanut butter for toast. Eggs were freshly made with vegetables if you would like. Fruit was given to you but every day we would leave the papaya. Would be better if we could select fruit pieces ourselves. these are just suggestions. overall our stay was very good and our experience.

Very courteous and professional staff tending to our needs daily. The ladies serving breakfast were especially nice and the food was very good.

Just a few items of improvement: we needed a bigger trash can, one of the sinks would leak onto the floor due to poor sealing to the counter and the front door didn’t seem to seal correctly and hot air would come in through the door. Very minor things

The hotel is far from the centre of the city (20-25min walk) but I had only a stopp-over and had to leave early to the airport. It is a more traditional hotel with a pool. I think they serve also breakfest. The management reminds guest to be quiet between 10pm and 8m, this is rare and was kindly appreciated. And: it was quiet.

No 24-h-reception as announced. Since I had to leave early and I had to be sure to have a taxi, I had selected the hotel under this aspect. When I told that to the person at the reception desk, he replied "you may cancel if you want". This is neither polite nor very busines-like. And yes, the taxi didn't come but the security guy was helpful and called again. So finally, with a delay of 20 minutes I left the hotel.

Amazing breakfast, spotless hotel, beautiful gardens and plants in beautiful pots everywhere! Lovely roof-top patio area on the third floor. Very comfortable chairs, lounges and hammock, some in the shade. Murals, and art painted on tiles make the atmosphere wonderful.

I loved everything! It was a bit of a walk (15 min. for most places I wanted to go), which was perfect for me as I love to keep active.

The full breakfast was wonderful. Also, it was nice to have beach towels available from the front desk. Noise was a problem our first night with music blaring nearby until 4 am. However, the second night it was quiet. Restaurants and the Malecon are within walking distance. La Paz has everything you could need. I loved the art work on the walls at this hotel.

I really loved the people they are super friendly. The breakfast! Wow, they will cook you whatever you like with several choices. The property is in such a nice little section of town and I felt perfectly safe walking around! Thank you all, I will return.

Beautiful place. Much attention was given to designing the resort and the facilities were fantastic.

Had a little problem at checkout with booking a taxi. When the employee said that it would be 300 pesos, I explained to him that I didn't think I had $300 so I would need to check. He ordered the taxi and when I went back to cancel it (since I didn't have $300, they were very rude and condescending. Left a bad taste after such a beautiful stay.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff very pleasant. Location was great, easy to walk to get a meal or sightseeing. The secured parking was an added bonus for us.

The barking dogs in the neighbourhood (2 white dogs around the corner from the hotel, always barking), but I understand there are a lot of dogs in the city.

Rooms comfortable, spacious, and immaculately clean. Nice breakfast. Pleasant outdoor spaces. Very quiet.

Slightly grubby pool. Location a bit far from center of town. Would be great if you had a car - there’s lots of parking and it’s near the main road. Not ideal if you don’t.

I like the decor. Very traditional Mexican. The poolmsetting. Cool and clean. Water clean. Grounds well kept. The breakfast staff was exceelent. A wonderful morning breakfast. Great coffee. Hot. Nice and strong. I would definitely com back and visit there. Armondo is an excellent employee.
