it has an accesible beach, beautiful restaurants with ocean view and delicious food. convenient scuba dive shop as well for the divers

we couldn’t figured out how to reserve a chair at the beach. the beach is really small, and they put this gigantes sofás that apparently people reserve Weeks in advance, with no possibility of finding a shade in the beach if you are a guest. disappointed. since the beach is really small we ended sitting on the other side in the crowded “public” beach.

In la Paz it's very rare to find a hotel at the beach that's not too expensive. Hotel La Concha has a great public facilities, such as access to a small beach, a huge swimming pool, restaurant with terrace, garden, a bar, a restaurant with good breakfast options. The bathroom had good water pressure and hot water. It's also close to the Seaside restaurant which has great food and view. The breakfast included is a nice platter of fruit, a full thermo of (good) coffee and some bread. The place is perfect to spend a full day, relax and make use of the facilities. The staff is friendly and we organised a boat tour through them, and they picked us up at the beach, very convenient! Make sure to walk to the other beach, the Caimancito beach, less than a 5 min walk from the hotel. So you actually have access to 2 beaches. We chose this hotel because if the facilities and the seaside view, and it did not disappoint! The hotel is a bit out of the centre, like 5 km, and 1 night we walked all the way back from the malecon, which was doable, though next time I will chose a bike, as they are creating a full cycle path along the coast which is great!

The rooms are pretty old, the beds too soft for my taste (not suitable for people with back problems like my partner), and the balcony is so tiny there is no way to put a chair even (we had the cheaper room, the family rooms seem to have bigger balconies). As long as you don't plan to spend your holiday in your room, this is all acceptable and the outside facilities make up for it. I will come back here next time.

La Concha is a great place for divers. The hotel is comfortable and right next door to the dive shop and pier. The seaside restaurant is fantastic and that is also right next door by the pier. The hotel has a private beach with palapas and bar service to your lounge chair. I would definitely stay here again if we come back on a dive trip.

The water isn’t very clear here and there was smelly green algae that built up along part of the hotel water edge.

It was perfect spot for a family with 4 and 8 year old kids. I wanted to do scuba diving and while kids are playing at the beach right front our room (only 3 min of walk) I had a great time diving, I saw sea lion ! The crew was nice too! There are playground next to the hotel as well! The best part was of course the sunset view. I will definitely come back again!

I wish the breakfast was included with this price. There are no restaurants around this neighborhoods by walk. Likely we rent a car so enjoy getting breakfast from local restaurant in downtown was fun. Also their restaurant was good and has a great view!

There were a couple of things we had issue with. First, the cold water in the shower and the bathroom didn’t work. We had to shower with hot water. Second, the restaurant service for dinner was very slow. We were told to,sit anywhere only to be told that we’re sitting in a reserved table. We were moved to another table and then our order was taken and it took almost an hour for the food to arrive at our table. Not sure what happened

The property is located right on the beach it's about 10 minutes away from the center of La Paz.

The property is a bit on the older side and the room was a little outdated, also the shower water would run out into the actual bathroom, you can also here everything your neighbor is doing.

Very economical beach resort option, nice pool and private beach in front. About 10 minutes from town by car. Great shower, quiet room.

As others have mentioned, restaurant breakfast service took an absolute eternity, they seem severely understaffed with only 2 waiters serving about 50 guests. Room is a little bit cramped but did the job.

The breakfast was great. the views, and staff were great. Superfriendly

.Front desk only had one person amd it would take forever, the rooms are old, in our room the security latch was broken the little valcony was missing the light buld and just plain outdated. Also there were cats everywhere.

The manager of the pool bar, at the moment of paying, told me in front of other people and tourists that my card you had no money in a mocking manner, simply because my bank blocked it since I used it outside the United States where I live, just click on my cell phone and unlock it, and pay, they should educate the staff more and explain to them that we are a tourist and these things can happen, not wanting to give us a hard time as a tourist
