Marriott Tuxtla Gutierrez Hotel

Amazing hotel and the staff happy to help the guest, the breakfast is not included in the prices but the breakfast offered by menu is delicious. The pool is insane and marvelous!! Them have a transport for guests to restaurant and hotel.

In the room, the bathroom is old and you noticed in the shower, the mats in the shower was dirty, also the shower looks like never been replaced for a new one. The distance between hotel and the restaurant is ridiculous, because you walk half hotel to reach the door of exit, and walk thought lot of stairs to the door of the restaurant, for people with medical conditions this walk is very exhausting.

I enjoyed the great customer service of the workers ! The food was delicious as well ! The workers are very attentive and willing to help. They made my stay comfortable and I will definitely recommend the Marriott !

I think the cleaning could have been a bit better . And the rooms are a little outdated . I think renovations and a more modern feel will make it more attractive.

Absolutely impeccable service! Incredibly polite and accommodating. If you asked for a pterodactyl riding a unicorn, this hotel would deliver. They do not tell you where things are, they show you. Great food, fantastic rooms, a bed directly from heaven, and a wonderful bar. I swear, I could happily live here for the rest of my life.

Just a very nice old comfortable hotel.

Some of the installations and the building and rooms are a bit out of date. This makes it both cozy and old fashioned but also a bit too out of date looking. The shower was a bit rusty etc.

Staff in hotels are very friendly. Especially the waiters at breakfast. All of them are very friendly and attentive and ready to help.

Menu and signs are only in Spanish. Tourist Information office inside the hotel also doesn’t speak English at all. Difficult to communicate if you do not speak Spanish. Hair dresser in the hotel does not wear mask in the shop and only does hair for ladies, not for men.

broken elevator, not a single light on by the swimming pool nether on the aisles to walk to the room. no information to let customer where the lobby or customer service are.

the rate for the room they finally charged was 12% more then original indicated because Marriott has their own exchange rate to the dollar….it’s pure robbery !!!

Lovely hotel with all amenities. Lovely pool area to relax and lounge in after a busy day of travelling or business. Rooms are comfortable with working AC. The breakfast buffet with the fry station is amazing. The dining room is bright and inviting.

Hotel layout is little confusing and we often tried to open our room on the wrong level

very comfortable rooms & beds. the restaurant is good with a fantastic breakfast menu & buffet, plus attentive & personable service. beautiful garden & pool area. all employees we encountered were accommodating & assistive. parking is on site
