the B& B was great for us, Jupiter and his family who also run a tour company were great. We did the tour to the volcano, a coffee plantation, visited a wooden Mask Maestro and the museum in the old Hacienda. The museum was especially good and Jupiter lead us through the fantastic pre-hispanic pottery collection and the work of Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo. Amazing!!
Considering the price point of this stay everything was acceptable. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked. The internet was a bit slow to allow streaming. I had my own wifi hotspot so not a problem

The owners were kind and helpful. it was an easy walk to the main square. We took a tour with Jupiter, so it made it an easy starting point. it felt very safe and it was fun to use the outside swing bed. their cleaner was amazing.
The windows to the streets had shades, but the street light still came in. if you are a light sleeper it might bother you.

The property was perfectly located two blocks from the main plaza of Comala. That means that we got a little walk to and from in order to get a feel for this small quaint town. We stayed in the “suite” which had air con as well as a ceiling fan ( which we like), small kitchen and sitting room. WIFI was okay but don’t plan on doing any online work while you’re supposed to be on holiday. All COVID protocol was in place. Although we are living in Mexico and trying to learn Spanish, it was nice that the owners are fluent in English. Our favorite part was the fact that Jupiter, the owner, is also the owner of Admire tours and we were able to make use of his services for two half day tours. He is a knowledgeable naturalist and we did some wonderful hikes with him. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, due to COVID, they have had to suspend their breakfast service.

Not not did we find the hotel excellent but their accompanying tours through Admire Mexico, with Jupiter as our our guide, also exceeded all expectations. Muchas gracias a todo por todos.
