Hotel Irma

Great quality for price. Stunning view, nice pools and sun lounge area. My room had a private sun lounger area and sea view. Quiet and family-oriented. Friendly personnel and good bar service. Room was a bit dated but had all the amenities including much needed air con. They were helpful with suggesting the beaches to go to! Great location. Private access to beach, but has fixed time schedule. Either way, easy enough to get to the beach via public access.

everything was wonderful and fabulous, the rooms are a bit more on the simple side, yet the bed is so very comfortable in the air conditioner works wonderfully! I slept so well every single night! everything I needed for a wonderful stay! There was wonderful hot water in the shower at all times, with good water pressure, and the amazing view from the room is incredible! A delicious breakfast was included in my room stay, and the waiters and the staff at the hotel are so warm and caring and kind! I will absolutely come back on my next vacation to Hotel Irma

The location is perfect, close to the Beach and Town Centre. We had warm interactions with staff the full 14 day stay. My husband needed Medical Care & they helped with information. They gave me Lunch one day even though we had paid for Breakfast. Very accommodating. They also changed our Room to provide less steps for us to walk up.

They could have had more Vegetation options for snacks & meals. Most other Restaurant's in Town had more selections. The Coffee was terrible, cold most mornings.

Location was excellent, within walking distance to beach, restaurants, downtown. Breakfast was great, 14 different egg dishes that you could try. Try Huevos Talavera or Oaxaquenos. The infinity pool is perfect place to end your day, especially with drink from happy hour menu. Beds were comfortable. Manager was excellent, spent many long hours there. Best beach was Playa la Ropa.

There are lots of hills in this area, part of Zihuatenejo's charm. Hotel is built in to cliff so there are lots of stairs, no elevators, good workout regimen if your room is on "piso ultimo" which ours was. Hotel could use some sprucing up as will likely happen now that they are getting busier.

The location with a great view of the bay. Walking distance to la Ropa beach, las Gatas beach and downtown. Great pools. Comfortable beds and silent aircondition. Good food at a reasonable price in the restaurant.

Even though there were few guests in the hotel, the waiting staff, with a few exceptions, was slow and inattentive. They completely forgot our order a couple of times.

Hotel Irma is a short 10 minute walk to downtown Zihua along the boardwalk or the canal. there was plenty of dinning options in and around the hotel and the hotel pool was very nice to cool off in and enjoy sunset

there was no direct access to the boardwalk below the hotel, you have to first exit on to the street and walk a block or so before reaching the boardwalk.also the wifi in the room did not work

The hotel is completely smoke-free, the rooms are clean and offer nice view from the balcony. We stayed at the hotel during low season and enjoyed the half empty hotel very much. The staff was friendly, especially one young pal who served us breakfast 4 mornings (out of 5). There are several options available for breakfast with good taste and quality. They also serve food and drinks at the restaurant (or by the pool during daytime) and the prices, compared to other restaurants in town, are very good. It is perfectly located just a few steps from beach, supermarkets and restuarants.

Considering the fact that we live in 2021, WiFi connection in our rooms was bad ...or just absent to be more precise. I wouldn’t recommend if you have to do some online work or spend hours scrolling on social media during your stay.

no fridge in room, no coffee maker, no cold bottled water, no in hotel store to purchase cold water, hotel is up a hill, so not easy to pop out for things. I’d stay again if there was a mini fridge, but otherwise, no… also, many areas blocked off and under repair.

The staff is very friendly. The view over the bay is spectacular. We love how it is centrally located to some of the best restaurants in town.

We could have used a couple of hand towels for our room. But that's the only thing we were wanting for.

Good location for easy access to Zihuatanejo center (some good restaurants) and walking distance from La Ropa beach (which I'd recommend more than Madera). Careful though: on Booking, the hotel wrongly appears located on La Ropa Beach; it is however not. Other than the great location, the view was amazing; the pools very clean and beautiful. Breakfast quantity and quality is very good (not to mention the view). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout-out to the maid and her funny and creative way of folding towels. Overall a very good option for Zihuatanejo!
