Hotel Meson de Mita

The location ,beach and general property was perfect! We had a kitchenette which was fantastic. The pots and pans worked but are in need of replacement, our sink leaked but it was tended too. They could use some basics like a dish drainer and an overhead shelf or cupboard. The beds where ok but hard, but clean and linens where available when ever you needed. The biggest problem really was the sewer smell, we went out and got some bleach and that helped to put a little down the drain daily. All in all would go back in a heart beat but would bring a few things along from the dollar store....

Great location in a village atmosphere. Problem, first night we suffered a huricane that was strong and violent. The town lost electrical power for 2.5 days, which made everyday living difficult. Thanks to the caring staff most personal problems were addressed and dealth with. The desk manager, Alberto was right on top of the problems. His English was very good which helped. It is a short walk to many top level resturants to include the Rest. attached to the hotel site. All in all, cant beat the price and location.

super central location, and the staff was excellent and extremely kind. The staff helped so much with teaching us Spanish and helping us with whatever we needed during our stay. The pool is clean and refreshing and the beaches are stunning. the perfect place to watch a sunset every evening. The Mina restaurant onsite is incredible and has the best ceviche EVER!

The coffee and breakfast at the restaurant by the pool could be improved.

Everything went well. It is in a very good place and, although they don´t have their own restaurant, it is surrounded by great reastaurants so, we just loved it!! We were a group of 7 senior friends, two couples and 3 single women. We all enjoyed it very much.

The beds probably can be improved. 2-3 people in the group complaint that their beds were too soft and they wouldn´t rest well. The beach in front of the hotel has lots of stones.... not that nice.... And the pool is pretty small....

The location of Meson de Mita is perfect. The pool and the beachfront chairs were really the highlight of our time in Punta de Mita. The staff is really friendly and our room was comfortable and well appointed.

I would suggest that the hotel consider having a fridge in their rooms or around the property to keep food and drink cold.

Aesthetically pleasing hotel! Perfect location for a quiet beach experience! really appreciated the breakfast that was available from eight until 1 PM at a very reasonable price.

wanted to take an early morning swim before breakfast, but the pool doesn’t open until 9 AM. I would change that to have it open at 7 AM for those of us who like to swim before breakfast, but not a big deal I went to swim in the ocean instead, which was nice!

The location on the beach was best in town! Nice pool with plenty of sitting areas. Great buffet breakfast each day was nice option to have. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The noise from the restaurant in the evening was quite loud in our room (Isla room) and we had to turn on the ceiling fan and A/C to help drown out the noise.

The grounds were really nice, 3 hammocks available to relax in, the pool was excellent, the beach although small, was the only hotel on this side of the bay with an actual beach, good beach chairs with shade from palms. Restaurant was very good, on the beach with great views. Staff were excellent, they all answered our questions well. Close to all restaurants and shops in town.

We actually had two rooms, the second room, the WIFI did not work inside the room, I believe we were in 106. The restaurant prices were high, but that seems to the case for all restaurants in Punta Mita, Restaurant prices in other towns were much cheaper than here. Could not swim out front of the hotel, too rocky, but just a 5 min walk to a really nice beach.

The pool, lounge chairs, umbrellas, and small roped-off area on the beach was nice. The water in the little bay in front of the hotel was very calm, but the bottom was rocky and shallow, so it was necessary to be careful. The bed was very comfortable and the room had air conditioning.

There was no window in the room, so no fresh air or natural light came in. The bathroom was a bit outdated.

Gorgeous grounds and wonderful location, right on the water! Pool was cold but nicely situated. Excellent breakfast buffet. Sweet little patio outside our room, fairly quiet. Overall would stay again.

Rooms did not have refrigerators, small bathroom, and not very comfortable beds. No coffee in the room. Pool was cold when we were there in December.
