Hotel Ysuri Sayulita

Staff were happy and very helpful, check in and out was smooth, pool deck and view were great. Limited parking in Sayulita and they have a small private parking garage. Beach restaurant was great. Location to central area is only a short walk. Codes to front gate and room, you don't have to carry a room key. Overall a very nice hotel!

Room 251- very clean and the bed was very comfortable, shower and towels were great, but in all our travels, we don't think we have ever seen a room with less colour, personality or natural light. A picture or mirror, some flowers, any wall decor or colour would go a long way. It worked for us because we were out all day looking at real estate and weren't on Vacation but if I was, I would not be happy with this room. The hallways echo, one night we were woken up several times because of people coming home late at night.

I backpacked all the cool places 15 years ago. Now I have a career and money. Ysuri is like 5 star backpacker level accomodations. It is no 4 seasons but it is really nice. The grounds and rooms are clean. The pool is great. The staff are helpful.

For the price, I wish there was more included. It is across the street (15 steps to sand) from the beach, but the sun lounger setup isn't included. You have to buy 500 pesos worth of stuff from the beach club. Which is fine, and the associated beach club is the well enough, but kinda annoying. All the surfboards had broken leashes. No bikes to borrow, etc. Just overpriced golf carts.

Front Desk agents were great. Very Helpful. Location was excellent. On beach, but only a few blocks from downtown and much quieter. Nice to have parking for rental car.

No bedside lamps. One chair. No table. Two chairs and table would be better. Closet was far too large, when a smaller closet and a bureau or desk would be much better. No amenities like coffee maker or small refrigerator. We had a personal matter and had to leave a day early and gave the property three days notice. They never replied to booking.com's request on our behalf and would not refund the last day or provide a credit. Property was very busy and they likely rented our room. I would have rated the property itself higher, but administration was very unfriendly.

Great overall experience, service was great on all levels, pool was amazing with views of the ocean, love that hotel has partnership with Taboule Restaurant & best beach club in Sayulita, they also operate restaurant service and drink service from pool area, very convenient if you want to eat poolside. Our hotel room was amazing, Junior Suite, very large, the bathroom could be a room in itself, extremely large, like a spa, dual sinks, rainfall shower head, amazing washroom amenities, i could go on about this hotel.....Definitely will return again!!

No real negative comments or issues...The only area that needs little more TLC is area by pool bar, seating area in shade for having lunch or on computer, needs to be cleaner, tables & floor surfaces. Minor thing that if corrected can give entire 100% grade from me.

The location of Hotel Ysuri is perfect! right across the street from the beach and the great little beach club and restaurant called Taboule. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They attend to each need or question we had. This was our second stay at Ysuri. We cannot wait to go back and stay again!!

The only think that i can think of and I’m thinking hard is that the steps to the upper floors are sometimes tiring but that’s not a deal breaker at all! Just know you’re getting your “steps in” going up and down to your room. The second building has an elevator. We never mind going up and down the steps. This statement is just to let others know that might have an injury or issue that would prohibit them from being able to use the stairs.

The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and had the best view of the ocean. The location is only a few minutes to the beach and to town. It was perfect for us to get around without having to rent carts or cars.

The food at this location was quite poor. We ate there a few times and the food never really got better. Very salty, greasy and not well done. We only ate there due to limited options on those days.

Superb view. Great pool. Nicely landscaped grounds. Secured grounds so no need for guest bracelets - Great! Glad to have a lift. Would have been very trying without. Huge room and balcony with jacuzzi bath (Not a hot tub so a little worrying use of water). Very comfortable bed and good to have a continually restocked supply of coffee.

Customer service was bizarre. Overtly very helpful - indeed insistently so - but when it came to it no real help at all - apart from booking a limo to the airport at the end of our stay Strange design and decor in the room . So minimalist it was bleak. Location of main accommodation block allowed for a great sea view but also meant the balcony got no sun at all. Associated 'beach club' across the road seemed to operate quite independently from the hotel so they insisted you bought something there to consume if you sat down - or indeed entered it! Charged extortionately for a beach chair.

Far enough away from the hustle of town but close enough to walk easily. Pool was well tended and the beach club over the road was awesome too! Room cleaned daily and fresh linen/ beach towels daily. Safe, secure access to the hotel and rooms all on pin pads. A free ride to the bus station via golf cart!

More drinking water could have been provided, 2 500ml bottles daily was not enough. Some surfboard/paddle boards for use at the beach would have been great. No discount at the beach club over the road as hotel residents.

the location, views from the room, pool and staff were awesome. the rooms were nice.

the kitchen needs better silverware/plates/glasses, etc. the deck needs more comfortable chairs both for the table and for lounging. the bathtub on patio should be either a jacuzzi or not there at all.

A very nice, clean, stylish room, with a fabulous balcony and view, complete with hot tub on balcony. The pool area was nice, and the staff kind and helpful, especially Iris and Elias. They even let us use the pool and keep our luggage there before moving to a new place. There was no breakfast included, and we did not utilize any food or drink service, but plenty of nearby options. Minor noise due to party people, but not a problem, and located in the quiet part of the beach. (Note that we stayed in a room with long stairs, which is only a problem if you have mobility issues, and really nothing to worry about).

No complaints really, but if we think of what could have been better: More hot water so that we could fill up the hot tub and take a hot shower, and less stress over sheets (we were warned that any stains on sheets could lead to a surcharge).
