Hampton Inn by Hilton Merida

The hotel itself was very nice, but no pool, the location was okay but not close to the city center, where all the attractions of this city are.. and because of the world wide Hysteria, over covid , half of the amenities were not available, no restaurant except for breakfast, and no bar.. the gym by appointment only.. WHY NOT AT LEAST OFFER ROOM SERVICE..

The best hotel I've stayed at in Mexico! Very clean — the moment we walked into our room, it smelled so good! The staff were accommodating, the breakfast had great variety, the beds were comfortable, the location was quiet, we had a little fridge, the room was a decent size, lighting was great, the A/C worked great and wasn't too loud, and overall we were very pleased. It felt like a 4-star American hotel. Pictures often show better than real, but we were not at all disappointed with our room. It's true to the pictures shown on Booking.com! (Note: picture attached here of our room was taken after we had already moved pillows, etc. It was in perfect order when we stepped in and very nicely decorated and arranged.) The card key system is quite fancy. You'll need to use it on the elevators and also put it in an apparatus inside the door of your room while you're in there. If you're more than one person, ask for a second key when you check in.

No pool, but we opted for a hotel we expected we would be happy with and didn't really have time to swim anyway. Water (shower, sink) was warm rather than hot, but it was fine. It was a little far from the airport but close to shopping (we needed to go to Costco after our airport trip). Parking lot slightly narrow. But I'd still highly recommend this hotel!

Breakfast was very good indeed. Perhaps, having more hot water for tea could be an improvement, a thermos jar was a bit small for the hall.

Adding a kettle in the room would be an improvement. Apart from this, everything seemed to be fine. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Free parking, the room was big and very clean. It's close to the Grand Mayan museum and to restaurants. The coffee in the room was great!

The shower shampoo was empty and the breakfast wasn't something wow. It was good but not something special for me.

We just stayed one night but we were happy with the whole experience. The restaurant down stairs was a plus for us.

I don't really had time to explore the ammenities, one night stay wasn't enoug. Would I book again? Definitely!

- Poor English speaking staff, for this reason 2 extra nights were charged. However, the payment was refunded within a week. - Somewhat boring breakfast, but for 2-3 days ok. - You can not get an espresso even though the espresso coffee machine at the reception is switched on all day. I do not understand.

Diego at the front desk was beyond helpful with every request I had! Breakfast was available every morning. The room was quiet and a great place to get work done. The WiFi was more than enough for work.

Room service would have been a great option and a pool

Hampton is always good the price on this stay was just great

nothing I did not like, but the breakfast needed some bacon with the eggs

I like the location near the mall and the conference center. Breakfasts were good. Wifi worked well. The room was clean and big.

Cleanliness, staff kindness and overall comfort

No complimentary items were available, I requested a spare toothpaste and the frontdesk people didn’t have one to provide but for sale…hmm
