Hotel Catedral Valladolid Yucatan

Amazing location (right behind the Central Park Cathedral), helpful staff. Parking available but not on premises (a 2 block walk). We had an issue with the toilet in the room we were assigned but they kindly switched us to a different room. All things considered, it was an enjoyable stay for me and the family.

the location was super, the staff were very friendly and responded to every question I had. they have arranged the taxi which took us to Chichen Itza and to the cenotes. it was around 1700 pesos for a regular taxi, but we teamed up with other travelers so they had to arrange a bigger taxi for 5 people and it cost 1900pesos. the room was very clean and comfortable. has a very nice view from the rooftop, although we didn't use it.

there is no elevator, but there are only 2 floors, so if you have problems with stairs maybe you should ask for a room on the ground floor. no breakfast.

Perfect location for our trip to see the beautiful city if Valldolid. Hotel Catedral was in walking distance to the square with a wonderful rooftop view of the Cathedral. Would Stay again when visiting Chichen Itza and the Cenotes around the area.

We came at one of the hottest times of the year, so the AC was a little overworked, but they don't keep them on with no vacancy, in an effort to save power. Understandable, plus you can cool off in one of the local Cenotes.

Staff is super kind and very helpful. There's a parking spot behind the hotel that feels very safe. You're in the city centre and there are a lot of restaurants nearby.

The shower was half broken and the water temperature could not be controlled. It was too hot!

Location Staff did try hard. Management was a bit reluctant to help us when we had to change plans (wanted to leave one day early - 3 versus 4 nights).

Management could be more flexible and helpful. The staff shouldn’t be put in awkward situations.

Excellent downtown location, right across the street from the main Cathedral

Unconventional bed sheet setting. There was no sheet under the blanket to separate from the mattress sheet, but there was sheet over the blanket. Had to ask for additional sheets and redo the bed ourselves.

Where do I begin? My stay at Hotel Catedral was absolutely perfect! Jimena, Rafael, Araceles, Guadalupe and a young man, who worked in the madrugada, were consistently helpful at every turn and always, with a natural smile and warmth. Jimena went out of her way to help me set up a private cenote tour and Guadalupe takes such pride in keeping the guest rooms seemingly brand new with each stay-over service. Truly appreciate your team! Also, it cannot go unmentioned how peaceful it is sleeping in such comfortable beds, set back from a quiet street, and then arising with the soothing church bells of San Servacio. I highly recommend choosing this hotel as your base while exploring Valladolid and its nearby attractions.

Fantastic location, very central but on a quiet street. Very comfortable beds. Great wifi connection, quiet AC. Nice size room, definitely worth the money.

Hot was her was very very hot and hard to balance the temp- better than cold though! Horrible smell of drains in the bathroom constantly.

The pool area was very uninviting, small, not maintained really well and it’s just in an awkward position in front of the reception and right by the entrance. Not much natural sunlight and definitely not ideal for lounging. They would have done better if they used the pool space to put lounge areas for clients.

perfect location in the heart of Valladolid, just in front of the Catedral in the main square. Best restaurants and store are at walking distance, easy car parking (not where you see yellow lines!), room clean, good bed
