Hotel Casa Rico

It was fine. Nothing outstanding but I found it was a good place to rest in the evening. Great location - just off the main square. So it was basically no longer than a 10 minute walk to most places in the town centre. Room was comfortable - air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Bed was medium/firm which is exactly how I like it. Pool was small but nice to take a quick dip in to cool off. Staff were friendly

On the weekends there is a bar nearby so and you could hear the music quite clearly and it was loud at times. My room was slightly further away and had other rooms in between but I imagine if I was any closer it might be difficult to sleep.

The location is perfect: only a block and a half from the main square, and with a free parking lot right across the street. I felt very comfortable leaving my car there for my entire stay, and walking to all the things I wanted to see. The staff was very warm and welcoming, very helpful as well. The room was beautifully clean and quiet.

I had to walk through the pool area in order to reach my room, and there was usually a lot of water on the floor around the pool. It made it very slippery and I was a little nervous about it. But it was a very small thing, compared to all the positive things!

The location of the hotel is perfect, it sits right at the main square of Valladolid. The staff was very helpful, we arrived pretty early in the morning (before 7) and they let us leave our baggage in a locker until we came back in the afternoon to check in. The rooms were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, towels were provided for us. There was a pool at the hotel. Staff helped us call a taxi by giving us a trusted phone number.

The locker was in a nightstand next to the bed, but when I opened the nightstand there was a spider web in it and I couldn't open the locker at all, it was stuck. I had to leave the water running in the shower for a long time to get some hot water and the ventillation of the bathroom was not very good, after showering it felt very humid for a long time. The TV was only able to broadcast one channel, the rest just didn't work. The room wasn't that quiet, you could hear the other guests from the hallway and the pool area. Also, in the morning the birds were very loud, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Great location, very nice staff. Offered free water and coffee, which was nice.

There was a light turning on and off at night outside the room, which was a bit annoying. Also, the property has a pool, which is great, but it was not very clean, which made me think twice if I want to get in it.

Big and comfortable bed, great air-conditioning, cute pool for a quick refreshment, great central location, very clean (daily cleaning), friendly staff.

Shower rarely had hot water until we got the trick to get it. (turn in on, back off, back on and wait)

The room was light and a good size, the beds comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent - a few metres from the central park.

The shower took a very long time to get warm and the head needs descaling so it flows properly. It is a great shame there are no chairs on the terrace. It is impossible to take advantage of it if you have nowhere to sit.

The location is very good, the place really comfortable and the staff very friendly. They allowed us to check in before the check in time. The gave us advice and the room was very nice.

I believe there's some kind of club around as there was a noise at the beginning of each night. Nothing horrible though. The second bed, individual, had a very bad mattress.

- the wifi didn’t really work in our room, so I had to take calls for work by the pool - the pool was quite dirty. Wasn’t tempting at all to use it. - hotel staff wasn’t helpful. the woman at the reception couldn’t tell us where the collectivos to Chichén Itzá left. (She didn’t even know that there were collectivos)

Good value for your money. Location is excellent to explore Valladolid.

Can be quite noisy at night due to thoughtless other guests, and it's next to the main street (traffic noise) and a bar (loud music). Better bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The location is great, only half a block to the central park, which was a great place to sit and relax. Only 3-4 blocks to the ADO bus terminal. Lots of restaurants in the area. Nice sized room. Would stay here again.
