La Aurora Hotel Colonial

Great location and really clean and comfortable. Excellent price too. The central garden is really pretty with the plants and pool. I also really like the old style decor and tiles. The roof terrace is nice too although perhaps a little tired. The beds were very comfy and our room was quiet except there was a guest who decided to take a teams call at 6am one morning which echoed all the way around the central courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for the excellent value and location.

The reception staff were polite but not too friendly and our room was quite dark but that meant it buffered from the Otherwise it’s a very good accommodation and would recommend.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The gentleman working the front desk was like another set of hands with our kids, and the housekeeper made each of my three kids amazing towel animals. The pool in the center of the hotel was great and we loved being able to cool off midday and then continue on with our exploring. Great location next to several great restaurants, parking was hassle free. The AC in our room was great but ended up breaking our last day and they were so quick to get us into another room. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and that's really saying something!

Nothing! Everything was perfect.

The hotel was centrally located and an easy walk to Centro. There was a breakfast available which we choose not to have included with our room, which was very nice and reasonably priced. The pool was lovely and very clean.

Although I had a confirmed booking and secured rate the hotel tried to almost double my rate, claiming it was taxes, when challenged they reduced the “taxes” and when I looked at the screen the terminology was “commission “, which in the end was negligible, but had I not questioned my room would have been double.

Really nice hotel in the centre of town. It’s a really nice location, close to the bus station and colectivos, the park, cathedral and all the main attractions. The facilities were excellent with two small jacuzzi pools on the rooftop plus a lounge area and a bigger pool on the ground floor.

The wifi was weak and didn’t work in the room. The hotel is on one of the main roads so it can get quite noisy since the windows are not isolated and open up on the street.

The comfortable beds were nice and soft. Quiet room. Great A/C. Room was dark with lights off, great for sleeping. Fantastic location. Liked the on site parking as I felt it was very safe. The rooftop pool (old hot tubs) were just cool enough to be refreshing and great to sit into relax. The view and greenery was amazing! We loved the 3 beds for our family.

Room was on small side but as expected and great value based on location. The parking lot is exceptionally small and challenging to back in with a full size car. Most people had a person get outside of their car to direct them into the parking spots. Be sure to back in as I think a person would not be able to get out if they drove straight in. But it was great not having to park on the street.

Location couldnt be better. The roof top deck wonderful for morning sunrise and evening sunset. The pool was clean and refreshing. The room was quiet. They accomodated our request for a room away from the very busy and noisy road.

No fridge. However could not find a hotel with pool, rooftop deck and a good location that had a fridge. Road noise would be a problem if located on road side of hotel.

Conveniently located, an easy walk to the main square and attractions. Quiet at night. Breakfast is offered at a reasonable price.

They tried to double our rate from what I booked on the Booking.com website, when I showed her my reservation information she changed it, but still added what she called tax, but showed on her computer screen as commissions……..wasn’t happy about that.

This was our second visit to Valladoild and both times we stayed at the La Aurora. From the outside the hotel does not look fancy, but the court in the middle of the hotel is very nice and you can even find a pool here. The rooms are comfortable. The location is great and you can easily walk to the city center within just a few minutes. There are as well many restaurants closeby.

Loved this hotel, it had a lot of great character, it was really cute. Had a big pool on the ground floor and two smaller pools on the roof. At night we went and sat on the roof to hangout and soak our feet, it was really nice. The rooms are cute, i love the tile and the artwork, everything was very clean and the rooms were spacious. The hotel was quiet and the location was excellent. Overall we really loved it here, i would recommend it to friends and family.

Beds were a bit hard, but fine for us!

Beautiful authentic clean hotel, with nice pools and near the center.

- There was no Wifi connexion in our room. The rooms further away from the reception needs an amplifier. - A smile from the staff would be appreciated a little more. In addition, there was a miscommunication about the amount of our room (which was clearly not our fault) but it seemed that way to the hotel. After checking, they did correct this, but we never got a small apology.
