Hotel Casa Faroles Centro Histórico

Our room was beautiful and comfortable! The staff was awesome. Housekeeping kept our room super tidy and clean every morning. The waiters were so friendly and kind. Front desk was also very helpful. Everything was accesible from the hotel which was nice. We were right in the city center and walking distance from everything. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Totally recommend!

The breakfast was so yummy but the only negative is they serve the same food every morning. It’s not a huge deal breaker but something to keep in mind.

This property is amazing at a great price. The location is great, between the cathedral and market. Love the architecture of the building and large doors. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nicely sized, super clean with firm tempur-pedic type mattress including soft linens and blankets. The AC works great along with a rain shower head with good hot water pressure shower. The room was super quiet which was a plus! Wifi works everywhere and allows you to download or stream movies without an issue. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to the way you like on the roof and will leave you, There are plenty of spaces to congregate with friends or as a group as well.

Nothing- Best property we have stayed at in weeks and we have been staying at several.

Fantastic location and an interesting hotel. The overall experience was overshadowed by the issues below though and we wouldn't stay again..

The reception staff weren't helpful at all. saw us struggling up the stairs with our luggage and offered no help (and didn't tell us there was even a lift!). Our room had it's large patio windows facing straight onto the main staircase so you needed to keep the curtains drawn, otherwise a constant stream of guests would be walking right past your large window! Shame as it made the room noisy and not very private.

Everything, wonderful hotel in all aspects. The photos don’t due the hotel justice in my opinion. It is spacious and very well done blending the old and new. The rooms have been brought up to modern standards. The roof top restaurant that serves breakfast was terrific. You can’t ask for a better location to go to all the museums and sites in Zacatecas. The staff was very friendly and professional. Will recommend the gem of a hotel to friends and family.

This is a gorgeous hotel. Loved everything. We especially enjoyed our patio. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was big and stocked with nice towels and toiletries. The breakfast was delicious. The staff in hotel and restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. Great stay at an amazingly affordable price for the quality of the stay.

Everything exceeded our expectations.

The architecture of the building is really beautiful. We got three different rooms, and all had really pretty touches. My room was large and had a small patio. Check in was fast and easy. And the woman at the counter was very pleasant. Actually, all staff were very friendly and nice. There is an elevator which made taking our luggage to the third floor a breeze.

It looks like some remodeling is still going on. In our restroom, there was this gash on the wall. I am assuming they need to finish electrical work or something. Also, the A/C was leaking. The beds are rock hard which would make me rethink about booking here again. That’s probably the only real issue. Other than that, it’s a real nice boutique hotel.

Big hotel room (nr202), with balcony facing the main street. Excelent Mexican breakfast with eggs, beans, chilaquiles etc. all included in the price Hotel is very charming in an old colonial style building. Everything spotless clean. I got coffee provided for free while I was working at my laptop at the rootfop

Pity they closed off the central open patio with a modern plastic roof maybe put some sunshade outside on the rooftop ?

A beautiful Historic building that is over 1000 years old. The decor and staff are amazing and the breakfast located in the 3rd floor which is their restaurant and rooftop. I will like to stay again but will avoid spending the night in room 212 if you are a couple that wants some comfortable romance at night. But worth experiencing the stay in this hotel especially for the price.

The room that we stayed at was close to the lobby and stairs which meant me and my wife couldn't have the privacy we needed to enjoy our company when going to bed. The room is 212 by the way.

it’s so beautiful on the inside. lots of places to sit outside if your room if you want. very clean and I loved the decor.

The breakfast was good, but more variety from day to day would be nice, especially if staying more than a couple of days.

Casa Faroles is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of the old town. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us one at the back which was fine. It was comfortable and clean and we liked having a bath tub for a change. Breakfast was ok and you could choose what you wanted so it was freshly prepared, though one day they had no bread!
