Brentwood Hotel

The size of the room was incredible! So spacious and light. Having a toddler with us, it was amazing having so much space for her to run around. The beds are spacious and comfy, everything very clean. Staff was great and meals that we got at the restaurant were super delicious and not too expensive.

Since we were on the first floor, access to the room from the parking was a bit far. This is only because the rest of the hotel is on the ground floor, so we could feel the difference being up a level. Other than that, everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Location exellent. Clean and easily accessible for mobility challenged. Unfortunately shower vent in bathroom didn't work Ordered and paid $8 for room service hot fries before we left to go out for dinner....40 minutes later no fries so left to go out... Without our fries A bit dated.. ceilings need attention as would be a hazard if an earth quake should strike. Very nosy neighbor peaking out his window and coming in and out if his room at 1 in the morning. Ruined my night by constantly coming in and out of his room so we left early to avoid any problems this weird individual had with us. Other than that exellent venue and staff. Would stay again and recommend to others

Being placed next to two workers when there was the ability to ensure we were noise free. A man snoring all night next to me in the adjacent room kept me from sleeping soundly, But to be expected for price value if room Slippery marbled floor when wet Mat in the shower as floor a slip risk

Beds comfy, staff great, location perfect, service perfect, spotless, spacious rooms and parking is great as I was able to leave my car there for the weekend, shuttle to airport was awesome as they were able to pick up my sister at mid-night flying in from Aussie!

Heating wasn't good as couldn't get the heater going and it was outdated, exterior could do with updating, need lifts and/or make it very clear on the website that there are no lifts. as stairs are quite high for someone with a disability.

I always stay here before trips from Wellington. Great service, especially getting the shuttle to the airport. I love the parking arrangements. This time a particular compliment to the young guy driving the shuttle as he offered me his sunglasses when I realised I’d left mine in the car. Very thoughtful. (I didn’t take him up in his offer, but it was beyond the call of duty for him to make it.)

Sometimes it’s a bit noisy at night. Either planes taking off or landing nearby can be heard (depending on wind direction) or other people arriving late or leaving early. Most people are considerate though.

Nice feeling. An older hotel, mostly in a good way. Very spacious. Nice grounds. Got a bit lost at first, but that just speaks to the spaciousness. My room was very large. Nice view from the window

The only down-side is that some of the facilities need an overhaul. Some of the wooden fittings need renewal. That's the down-side of it being an older establishment. Overall, the balance was OK, but the aging wooden finishes are the reason for not giving an even higher score.

We needed a room for the night close to wellington Airport at a reasonable rate and ideally with a restaurant and this property provided this well for us. The restaurant provided a good enjoyable meal with friendly service. The hotel provided a taxi in lieu of a shuttle bus in the tariff to take us to the Airport at 4:15am

The room appeared to be not airconditioned. It had a thermometer on the wall but I couldn't see any air outlets or air return. There was what appeared to be dripping water outside onto part of the building which was an annoying noise but it didn't stop us from sleeping. We were conscious of it while awake.

Having travelled from Sydney to Wellington and being delayed for almost an hour due to extreme weather conditions at Auckland City Airport, the Front desk Operator was exceptionally helpful. Even though it was after 1am and I was 2hrs late, had luggage that was more than I could handle AND the last to arrive, I was greeted ever so pleasantly with professionalism at it's best. (Even when I phoned to let him know I needed to book the Shuttle Service) I must've SOUNDED like a mess because upon arrival he had prepared for my entrance like a BOSS. After ALL that, check-in was a BREEZE. The room was absolutely cosy, the bathtub was just what 'the-doctor-ordered', the Bed was ever so comfortable, making my experience at the Brentwood OUTSTANDING. A beautiful Home away from Home that deserves HIGHEST possible rating. Thank you Brentwood Hotel. it's a 100 out of 10 from me.

No Faults on my end.

1. Location - not in the CBD, but only a short drive away. Close to the airport, supermarket, takeaways etc. 2. Clean and tidy. 3. Excellent value for money. Both taking into account the room rate and the fact parking is onsite and free. Hotels in the CBD often charge $25-$28 per night and parking is offsite. 4. Nice cooked breakfast available. Nice coffee.

I am being picky, the only negative things I would say: - no microwave in the room, not a major issue, just something to be aware of. - no extraction fan in the bathroom so mirror steamed up.

The room was really large and the room service breakfast was reasonable in price and delicious. The staff was really nice. It is an older hotel and the furnishings though clean and comfortable are not fancy. There was no air conditioning, but that is not uncommon for New Zealand and the windows opened and gave a nice breeze.

The elevator was out and I had to climb the stairs though they did have rooms available on the first floor.

100% reccomend and will stay here next time we come to wellington , the staff were utterly amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my son had an amazing stay ( it was his birthday) , the beds were absolutely comfteble and made the perfect place to relax after a huge day , the facility's were top notch and my son and his nana even were aloud a "polor plunge" as they called it as they jumped into the pool at 9pm whilst it was hailing and windy 🤣 100% reccomend ,
