Hotel Casa del Consulado

The deluxe two queen beds room was very large and spacious. The bathroom was huge. Very nice room. The pool is right in the courtyard and catches early day sun. Both the evening and morning staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The price we got was very good value for money. Several breakfast options available and you tell the staff the day before what you would like and what time for it to be ready. We really like the Nicaraguan breakfast. Was only going to stay one night but ended up staying for two.

Not a big deal but I wish the lightbulbs that were used in the room were soft yellow lights, not the bright fluorescent white light that is so common in Central America. Everything else was great!

Perfect hotel situated in the heart of Granada, everyone working there was so friendly and helpful. Jaime in particular at reception was a delight and his English was very good. The traditional Nica breakfast was brilliant and the ladies serving us always remembered every particular detail of what we liked. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. 100% recommend!

The hotel is located in a really beautiful building just a couple of minutes away from the main square, the rooms are very specious and spotless, and breakfast is lovely. The staff are also very friendly and were very considerate and helpful when one of us was unwell. We would definitely stay there again!

The breakfast was very tasty, hot and served right on time. The hotel is a gorgeous colonial-style mansion that is well preserved and beautifully decorated. The pool is a great addition because Granada can be very hot during the day, so it's perfect to cool off after walking around the city. I really appreciated the help from the two guys working at the reception - very attentive and accomodating.

this property was amazing, the breakfast was terrific (we got the traditional both mornings), the staff was out of this world, the room was so comfortable and unique, and the pool area was relaxing. all within the city center so walking anywhere in Granada was a breeze. we will definitely be back!

we didn’t know about the blackout blinds, and the first day they tried to limit our breakfast selection/charge extra, even though we’d paid for it.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Additionally, I had to cut my trip short for medical reasons and the staff went above and beyond their duties to help me out and refund the money for the room I couldn’t use.

- little overpriced - due its central location (it's advantage and disadvantage at the same time) you can clearly hear music and parties ongoing in the neighborhood

Very good location. Few steps from the main square, but very quiet. Niche pool area. Spacious room with excellent bathroom and hot shower. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast could be better.

The room we had was huge. Even though the location is central it was quiet. Staff were great!

There’s only one option for the included breakfast so if you’re staying longer it would be a problem for me.
