Selina Granada

Great location, the hotel run lots of good tours.

The rooms are super small and quite expensive for what they are. The staff were sometimes a bit grumpy!

Nice hostel in the city center. Nice morning sports. Daily freewalking tours. Like the sitting area with view on the park. Daily welcome drinks for new arrivals. Good to connect.

Breakfast not included. Quite pricey- all offered tours were fairly expensive compared to other hostels nearby. E.g. masaya volcano +10$ more. Drinks were too expensive, e.g. Toña 100COD Be cautious of the dodgy vendors right in front of the hostel trying to sell you various things and tours. Some seem more a scam than anything else... Huge hostel. Plenty of digital nomads.

Staff were really friendly and the room was big and great balcony. We did the walking tour (free) and the volcano tour our guide was awesome. Very beautiful property. The food was very good.

The drinks are way over priced in comparison to everywhere else around them. Make sure you check their events schedule, we arrived and were told there was a pride party (techno music) happening that night it went on until 4am. So if you don't want to party or want to actually sleep make sure you check what they have going on when you are staying. We were also quoted $80pp from the airport,before we arrived which didn't show up we ended up just getting a airport taxi for $50 total!

the central location, the kitchen, the beds and pillows were comfy, the table football that entertained my 2 children. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to help with a smile.

I use earplugs to sleep everywhere I go, I’d say that it is probably not the place to go if you want to relax as there’s always music playing, even at 6.20am! the feel of the place is great though, and I slept through the Saturday night party, which didn’t go on as long as I expected to. I paid £360 for a 3 night stay in a 4 bed room, there were 3 of us, and this was the most expensive stay in the whole trip. it didn’t include breakfast either.

Fooseball table, giant Jenga, pool table, swimming pool, yoga studio, movie room, library, communal kitchen, restaurant, and access to book all the must see excursions near by. (Isletas($32usd)/volcano masaya($32usd)/laguna($21usd) Centrally located and beautifully designed with several lounging areas throughout the property, the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. The basic rooms are basic, but they do have hot water, towels, and a charging outlet accessible for each bed. Selina was very lively with daily activities like walking tours, yoga, and cooking classes. There was always something engaging going on that offered a little bit of something for everyone. Great Wifi throughout the property.

The hotel is beautiful and very charming. Our room was clean with a good functioning air-conditioning. The outdoor areas were spacious, enough places to relax. Nice pool. The hotel is located directly at the main park, everything within walking distance. Very nice and helpful staff, speak good English. We booked multiple tours with them and they were all very good. Expert guides. Definitely recommend the free city walk and the Lava Tour Masaya!

The food is good but very overpriced! More than double the cost of eating and especially drinking compared to somewhere else. Charging 250% for a beer is just absurd. The WiFi is not great, didn't always work. The hot shower is tepid at best. The room was clean on arrival, but wasn't cleaned once during our stay. At least they could've emptied the bin and changed the towels for that price... Check in is at 15.00, which is very late in my opinion. Also because everybody that arrived earlier tries to check in at that time, it took very long.

Value for money especially considering the location is very fair! Having an AC is wonderful since it is very hot in the city! The common areas are nice and clean also the kitchen has a good size, I wonder how it is during high season though (we‘ve been there in low low season)

The basic double room is tiny! It fits a queen size bed but nothing more than that really. The bathroom floor is always wet and might need cleaning more often than once a day. Tours and drinks/food is way overpriced compared to regular Granada prices.

It's a Selina, what can I say? It's overpriced for what the room is; you are paying for the ambiance and the property. But, it's worth it as this Selina location is absolutely amazing. It's in a beautiful old building and the common areas, pool, and front deck are super nice. The room was basic, but very quiet and cool. There was hot water! The location cannot be beat; literally on the main square, which makes it easy to walk everywhere as well as go out at night to eat/drink without having to venture too far. Also, the staff members were exceptional at this Selina - thank you!!

The private room is overpriced for the size/quality as compared to other hostals in the area. But, again, you are paying for the facilities (and Selina name).

The hostel is well located in central Granada, and is a beautiful big building with a pool, pool table, bar and restaurant. Our room had A/C which was effective, and it was clean and quiet. There are daily activities organised and the walking tour in particular was great.

The hostel isn’t great value for money, with breakfast generally not included and quite expensive (c. $6.50). The size of the hostel means it feels more like a hotel, with less of an atmosphere

Great clean pool and common areas. Really nice kitchen. Good AC in rooms. Nice free welcome drink. Perfect location on the main square. Beautiful old colonial building.

We were 2 people and booked a small room with a doublebed, it was on the smaller side definitely, enough room for us and our bags but no more. But since common areas were good we hung out there. Shared bathroom was okay, could have been cleaner. Food in the hotel restaurant was on the expensive side compared to other places in town.
