This well run 5 room property is located steps from the historic center of Guimares. it is an excellent value but if you are expecting a hotel experience, this is not the place for you. Check in to both the property and your room is done by code which I had absolutely no problem with, but another guest did not get the codes and when he called the owner, he respond immediately in person. and got them checked in. breakfast is your standard Portuguese breakfast. Luis the owner and the other staff are all very friendly and helpful. Luis has very good suggestions of what to do and where to eat. While there are nearby free on street parking availabilities about 200 feet before you reach the hotel there’s an entrance to a municipal garage which has very affordable rates.  there’s one unit on the ground floor and the other four are on the first and second floors there’s no elevator so if you have issues with stairs, request the ground floor and unit.

Great location, amazing breakfast and our room was very well designed and decorated. So many beautiful little detailes!

Check in is easy if you receive the correct code. We didn't. There are 2 local numbers on the door - however, because we only had a foreign phone ( we only purchased SIM card for the internet because we didn't plan to make calls in Portugal), we had to figure out the country code. We called the first number, nobody picked up. We had more luck with the second call and got the correct code. We went to pick up our luggage and received a call, that they have changed the code and now the first code is correct. It would be great if you could add a WhatsApp number or at least the number on the door with the country code, it would be easier for foreigners to reach you and for you to reach them.

This hotel is on the perfect.loaction. 10 min walk from the train, and 5 minutes from the historic center. It was a very nice room, clean and comfortable with a lot of nice little touches. Robes, coffee, two small water bottles in the fridge. We had the downstairs room with a private patio, which was nice. The breakfast was really good. Yogurt, cereal, bread, meat and cheese, fruit, juice, sweets, and great coffee. The person serving breakfast was very nice and friendly too. We would definitely recommend this to our friends.

The breakfast had a wide variety to choose from and the room was lovely with just enough space for the two of us. The facilities provided was perfect and it was walking distance from everything that we wanted to see and experience.

The stairs up to our room was a bit narrow, but coming with big bags, that was something we should have expected. It didn't diminish our stay in any way.

The location was very good, close to the center, with many good restaurants. We parked the car in the paid parking nearby and it was reasonable. The personal gave us useful information and the room was very clean. Also the terrace is great. We had a great stay in Guimarães and hope to come back.

They make you feel like a luxury home, very friendly and professional people. Every detail is made on purpose to create an amazing and unforgettable experience.

I cannot say anything bad. The fact that I can not stay longer because I didn't have more holidays.

The view from the little balcony was great. And the guy serving the breafast was a true hospitality professional.

As it is located next to a lively street and the sound isolation is not very good, it was noisy. But I was very tired, so I could sleep anyway.

The room was fabulous, very comfortable and stylish and it was great to have the lower terrace. The breakfast room was great for doing some work. The staff were so helpful, it felt as though nothing was too much effort.

Well-designed, comfortable and clean suites in the heart of the historic centre yet in a calm area of Guimaraes. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Adapted for persons with physical disabilities.

Perfect location and very kind staff. Cozy room, clean and comfortable. The parking is very close to the property and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended
