Well Hotel & Spa

Absolutely stunning and super clean boutique hotel. We only stayed one night but we will return for sure - beautifully decorated sea view suite. Really comfortable mattress and pillows with a lovely and massive bath next to it where we enjoyed the sunset. Although we only stayed for the night, it was exactly the kind of romantic and peaceful break we needed away from the kids and our daily routines. Staff was friendly and the food and drinks from the bar were tasty and delivered to our room. The included breakfast was also delicious and way better than what we were expected with great variety of local products and seasonal fruits.

We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities a little more. The Spa treatments such as massages etc need to be booked in advance and because we were only staying one day, we couldn’t make it work. However the receptionist tried to accommodate us and arrange a slot prior to our check-out but we wanted a lazy morning so didn’t book anything this time. Everything was lovely and we will be sure to return!

Well, it was occassional booking, but this stay has made our trip to Portugal. Our room, though costly, was (sorry for capsing) JUST GORGEOUS! Jacusi and the bed with ocean view, do one need to describe that in detailed )) ? The rest of furnishment of the room was in conformity with main gems of it. The breakfast was outstanding reach and of good quality. The coffee from the bar was very tasty (unlikely to other places in Portugal to our surprise ). Personnel is friendly and welcoming. Beach is at hand's reach. I would admit that designers and architects that projected this hotel have squeezed 200% out of it's location. Bravo!

The breakfast was simply outstanding! The location was good, and we had no problem finding parking in the public parking in front of the hotel. The room was large including a nice seating area. The main bed was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities good.

In order of importance, considering the price of the room: - It seems the room had not been used for a while - there was a layer of dust everywhere in the room. - The room had no windows to look out giving it a cave-like appearance. While this was clearly indicated in the booking confirmation, we would not book this room again. - The sofa-bed was uncomfortable, and the door between bedroom and living room was stuck and could not be closed. Given that the room is offered as a "family suite" this should be fixed. - We had booked the room for 3 people, yet there were only 2 sets of towels in the room when we arrived.

Well suite was super nice! Expectations were fully justified. Jacuzzi pool with an amazing view and sunset! Breakfast with great choice and variety of fruits. Definitely had a great time 👍

The jacuzzi and the shower room are made of the same material, which become very slippery when wet. It is very difficult to find a position in the pool where you can relax and easily lie quietly. Perhaps additional rubber mats could help. Unfortunately, not all saunas in the spa area worked during our stay. Everything else was great!

The location is impossible to beat. You basically have a private section of beach with access to 3 restaurants. It is very remote and quiet- but only a 15 minute drive from attractions and other beaches. The hotel is very new and modern. The continental breakfast is actually of great quality youd gladly pay extra for elsewhere.

The air conditioning is non functional. You would be better off to just open your windows. I mentioned this in a google review and the person at the front desk confronted me about this (which made me a little uncomfortable) saying they would have fixed it had I said something to them (she read my google review while I was still a guest there)- but its clearly not something that can be "fixed" with a quick maintenance visit or a room swap. The central air system in the entire hotel does not work well and needs to be upgraded as the entire hotel was very warm with stale air.

We booked this hotel last minute. We wanted to visit the seafood festival in Santa Cruz and stay nearby, so we chose this hotel, which was near enough. We arrived there and the owner was so apologetic that our room was so small (remember we booked last minute). He offered us complimentary drinks. And the staff were so great. Our room wasn't that small - was enough for the purpose of that stay. It just made us want to come back and enjoy all the amenities - massages and all!

I wish I would have known of how nice this hotel was before booking :) We will come back and enjoy it to all its potential.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I think I was a little underwhelmed by the hotel and it’s location. We went to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and a kind gesture like a glass of champagne would have made the difference in the world. Also their restaurant was closed when we got there so we had to get a cab to somewhere else to eat as there was little choice near by and too far for delivery.

Breakfast was amaaazing. Huge fruit and pastry selection. Dinner and cocktails in the hotel also lovely and we both had an incredible massage that was supposed to last 90mins and actually was almost 2 hours. I highly recommend the spa! The gym is also almost brand new, and due to covid you book the time that you want to use it so you have it all to yourself which I loved! The beach next to the hotel is tiny, but just a few mins walk away is a gorgeous, much larger beach which we enjoyed for morning walks. A cute beach restaurant there too, but other than that you need a car to go anywhere.

Pillows too hard for me, but that's minor. Unfortunately we had very noisy people in the room above us, seemingly having a party until 3am when we asked them to keep it down. Not the hotel's fault though. The view from the dining area is kind of looking at the beach, but mostly looking at a car park.

Amazing facilities, service and location. We were very pleased with the room, big and very well presented. The pool is amazing as well has the jacuzzi! We also have used the Gym, that is very complete. The breakfast is amazing! It was a difficult choice because everything has very good. Congrats also on the service, the people very nice! I have to say one of the best places I have been! Nearby you can enjoy beach but also nature, this gives extra points to the place!

The only thing we didn't like was the waiting for the dinner, we have booked beforehand as requested, but when chosing the dishes we had to wait more thand 45min for being served. This happened the 2 times we had dinner and to other tables as well. Feebdack was given on the check out.

Just stayed here for one night on our way to Porto. Amazing staff, beautiful room, great gym, surprisingly good breakfast. Amazing gourmet restaurant restaurant at a nearby fancy hotel (areas do seixo, something like that).

Probably don't expect to swim in the ocean in front, it's pretty rough, but normal for the area, I think. Pool seems pretty sad, if you're into that, but it didn't bother us.
