Hotel Made Inn

The room was nice and clean and the furniture is modern. They have a good breakfast buffet - we especially liked the wide variety of breads. There could be some vegetables and less sweet things, otherwise it was great. The breakfast buffet doesn’t accumulate a lot of (plastic) trash, which we appreciate a lot. The woman, who was responsible for the breakfast, took very good care of it - she filled up the food and drinks at the buffet very quickly, cleaned the tables and set the tables promptly. We got what we expected for the price. If we stay in Portimão again, we would definitely choose this hotel.

I booked the Theme King Room. The king-size bed is very comfortable. There is a bathtub, unlike most hotels which I stayed and are usually very small. The air con is great, TV has many English movies channels. Note there is no kettle and the lighting is dim for reading. Reception is open 0800 to midnight. One can leave the luggage before checkin and after checkout. Breakfast is from 0730 to 1000hr. It is good, with many types of pastries, fruit juices, yoghurt, apples and oranges, and a coffee dispensing machine. Overall a great stay here.

Every time i asked for something staff was on it right away. Came in expecting only the bare minimum for the money i paid but it was way better and i wouldn't be against coming back at all

1 time where we asked for fresh towels but didn't get it, came back late at night to see this so we had to reuse old ones. Would also be nice if cleaning could come later at the day when everyone is going to be sleeping late because of the festival.

Room was exactly as described and as seen in pictures. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was amazing, right in the centre of town, within walking distance to all I needed. Breakfast was brilliant, again as described and seen in pictures, delivered right to your door :-)

I had my own separate bathroom which was great! A mirror in the bedroom itself would have been helpful but I improvised and used the reflection off the tv.

Hotel was super clean, rooms had enough space compared to other hotels in Portugal. Bad was also in the right size. WiFi was OK but not super fast. Only be aware, that this hotel is in the old town so some minutes away from the beaches. In the downtown there are multiple restaurants and some bars with can reached by food. There are busses towards the beaches which can be used if you don't want to walk the ~30mins.

Breakfast was very good.. Good choices. Staff at breakfast were excellent.. Young lad at checking in was very very helpful.

The windows in our room were running with water every morning. We even left window open still wet. Down wall was water marks. Room needed somewhere to put bits and bobs.

The rooms are what they seem at Booking photos, very confy! The staff is great and the breakfast is pretty fair. Also, city center and restaurants area are very close to the hotel. For sure, I recommend it.

The Hotel exterior doesn't show what it really is on the inside. Also, finding a parking space can be challenging...

Surprisingly comfy bed and although we were next to the lift we didn't hear any noise all night. It was good value for the one night we stayed. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good and the location is perfect.

I think the picture make it look a bit nicer than it is but its good value.

Good location, good breakfast, very helpful staff. Nice rooftop. Lots of English TV channels.

I was in the room two weeks, so I would have liked a desk, a work table of some kind. There is a small table, but it is mostly dominated by the TV. (The TV could be mounted on the wall?)

The room was very clean and location is perfect. All the sightseeing are accessible from nearby bus station. I checked in at night and checked out at early morning. The breakfast is simple and good options. The night receptionist spoke good English.
