Jupiter Algarve Hotel

I shared my room with my mum. The room was comfortable and clean. Our room had a side Seaview and it was lovely in the morning to sit in the sun and lookout.

At night because it is located at the beginning of the entertainment strip, there were a few loud drunk men yelling at 3am

Beautiful room with amazing view and good location close to the beach

Elevators were always busy because there are only 2 in such a big hotel. Pool is small and crowded. Coffee capsules were not refilled in the room. We ordered room decoration for birthday but they forgot about it. Later we partly received the previously ordered birthday surprise. However, it is true that we received it for free as a compensation. Parking was complicated as the hotel garage was full.

Loads of choice at breakfast. Buffet menu at lunch good. Staff helpful when needed.

Other guests putting towel on sun loungers. Went to pool at 9.30 no beds left. Some of beds with towels on, no one on them all day.

The hotel is Across the road from the beach, although there are steps down, there are not as steep or as many as other places on the strip.If you are looking for somewhere good to eat then Squash Restaurant is the best.Turn right as you come out of the hotel walk a short distance and turn right again, there is a little Brazilian bar on the right ( great music ) . Pass that and take a left bring you into another street.Just walk down that road a little and Squash is on your right . You have to go through the gate , walk down the steps and you will see the restaurant below There is Outside and inside dining. It is the best restaurant in Praia da Rocha. The food is fantastic , the staff are Brilliant and it has a wonderful atmosphere. The variety of food on the menu is outstanding. We ate there 3 times during our holiday .So if you want something special this is the place to go. It is also very reasonable in price. Other than that, there are loads of bars & restaurants on the strip It's a very lively and busy area.

I thought the Hotel room was a bit small. We had a main sea view. Also, they could have left a complementary bottle of water each day not just the first day.

The location of this hotel is ideal with several rooms having balconies overlooking the beach. The Praia da Rocha strip is bustling with all the attractions you would expect. A short taxi to the town of Portimao brings in a whole different experience. E.g Fish restaurants, boat trips and local town life. A great hotel very professionally run, a really good experience. Well worth its 4 star rating.

Snacks around the bar area took a while to arrive during the day. Explanation and access to the range of food available could be improved. In the mornings and at night the food and service were excellent.

The staff will go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay and make sure they can accomodate your requests to the best of their abilities. The pool side waiters will recommend the best the hotel has to offer while tou enjoy the sun. The location is ideal if you want to be close to almost everything so you can enjoy the party vibe whether with family or just with the wife. I recommend you take the time to go and enjoy the Spa.

I could not deam the lights of the AC which make the room a bit bright while you sleep. Not major but I enjoy my room very dark at night.

Jupiter Portimao We were looking for a bank holiday break and found this place. Really couldn’t believe all the pluses. Great quality food, decent wine & beer. Sea view and beach close-by Loved watching people go past from the balcony like a Lowrie painting. You couldn’t get lonely as the hubbub of shops & visitors was steps away if you fancy. We’ve been to a few all inclusives travelling around and appreciated the higher level of cuisine. If you are still hungry no shortage of great quality places to eat and drink on your door step. The pool bar entertainment can be a little on the loud side but it’s all wrapped by 12. Anyhow I don’t mind watching couples having a great time. If you want somewhere that ticks all the boxes then the Jupiter Algarve is the place to come- you will not be disappointed. Special thanks to Edgar, Ricardo, Ana on Reception and all the magnificent staff waiting on us.Felt Blessed to stay at the Jupiter.

Great location near the beach in Portimao. we had fantastic views of the ocean from the balcony off our room. The facilities had a resort feel and were top-notch. A very expansive breakfast buffet was available every morning! Truly something for everyone! We didn’t sit by the lovely pool, but many guest did. The hotel was an easy walk to many great restaurants. The staff was very helpful. We loved our time in the Algarve and wished we had stayed here a few more days! We would definitely stay at the Jupiter Hotel again!

The location adjacent to the beach with a room with sea view was fantastic. The buffet breakfast had options to suit all dietary requirements. Perfectly situated on the strip with great restaurants and bars, highly recommended. Excellent staff across all areas of the hotels.

No real supervision of sunbeds, some had towels on them for long periods with nobody using them, some other guests also remarked on this and said they were heading to the beach instead, this will result in loss of revenue to the hotel.

The staff were very good. When we arrived about 6:00 PM on Dec 3rd, the young woman at reception (she was from Brazil?) could not have been more welcoming.The view (full frontal) was such a pleasure. We loved the balcony view and hearing the sound of the waves. There was a good variety at breakfast.

The bed in our room (601) had seen better days and I experienced a feeling of almost rolling off of it every time I went on my side. The breakfast items were not hot.
