The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was also very nice, wide variety of choices. Perfect location, walking distance to downtown. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

The wifi was not stable, we had no wifi reception in our first room and they was helpful to offer us another room immediately. The wifi in the second room was better, but still very unstable especial after midnight. We literally took a virtual meeting in the lobby due to the poor wifi reception.

The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the underground secure parking, always a bonus in a city. The location was fantastic in walking distance of everything. Although walking back took longer as it's quite hilly but then you can always get an uber or taxi very easily. Plenty of places to eat too.

On our first night we ordered a bar snack, just hamburger and fries which quite frankly was not great. The burger was edible but the chips were stone cold. The server had disappeared after being the food but when she came back to collect the plates we said the fries were inedible as they were cold. She apologised and took them away only to bring them back a few minutes later admittedly got but obviously just nuked in the microwave. They were awful. For this they had the nerve to charge 30 euro.

I stayed only 24 hours, due to a cancelled plane. I was pleased to find this beautiful place, I liked the gardens, the bar, breakfast (included) was fabulous and in a beautiful setting. Good restaurants nearby. The room was large and with the view of an exotic garden, clean, beautiful and very comfortable, good smelling, clean linens and a large comfortable bed. The bathroom exceptional: generous bathtub, spacious, clean, beautiful. I had a very relaxing time and a good night of restful sleep, which I needed badly.

Nothing could be better. If I ever go to Porto, I will definitely book a room in this hotel!

The property is lovely!! It is located about 10-15 minutes walk from so many things. We found the location to be amazing. We walked everywhere. It also has elevators, which was great for our luggage. The mini bar was well-appointed and affordable. There is also a small grocery market just around the corner. We found that and loaded up on water and snacks. The staff are all wonderful! Everyone was kind and helpful. We are still learning to speak Portuguese and the staff spoke English, as did most everyone we encountered in town, so we were fine there. We needed a wine key one night and they brought one up. The breakfast is incredible. 2 kinds of eggs daily, an impressive assortment of hot and cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, fruits, veggies and every beverage. I’m gluten and dairy free and my husband isn’t. We both found plenty to eat daily. And it goes to 11AM. I highly recommend including it.

WiFi was slow at times, but we didn’t need it a lot, and so we didn’t care.

The hotel looks nice and it's well organized and managed. The staff is very kind. The breakfast is great. The room is comfortable and well equipped, plus -if it faces the courtyard- it's also very quiet. They disinfect everything before receiving a new guest, plus cleaning is done every day. There is also a courtyard to sit outside and chill in the sun. The area is well connected by bus, although walking to the centre of Porto is also a feasible hike.

Some appliances looked a bit old and might need replacing: the towel hanger on the bathtub looked like it was about to fall down (I could see the rawplugs and the screws coming out of the wall). The cleaningness of the bathroom was more than OK for me, but some guests with "higher standards" might have disagreed. If the rooms gets warm during the night, there is airconditioning, which works pretty well, but it is also rather noisy (and you cannot really leave the window open for airflow, because the seagulls scream all the time). The wi-fi signal in the room was a little weak and, at times, it did not work. Overall, no major issues, but a few fixes here and there might improve the stay even further.

Very nice hotel in a great location at a higher point in the City. Very close to Clerigos, Carmo and Carmelitas Churches, City Center with great shopping and City Hall. Many restaurants nearby. Great value, when I booked I was not expecting so nice a stay. Terrace, bar and restaurant also on site.

I had a little trouble with WiFi, probably just my room location. No other complaints.

This is a super hotel, staff are professional and nothing is too much trouble. We arrived after having a horrible experience at another establishment. When I mentioned it to the Receptionist she immediately upgraded us to a suite. Now that's Portuguese Hospitality. The room was huge, the bathroom was the size of the entire space we left and there was a lovely little mini bar. I know where we will be staying on our next trip to Porto. Thank you all for helping rescue a holiday which was not going well at all. From booking in to this hotel until we left. We had a super time.

the bed was big and super comfortable. bedroom and bathroom great. breakfast could improve but I still enjoyed it. there is a bus that goes directly from the airport (bus stop is 100 meters away from the hotel). the staff were very helpful and nice!

During check-in, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel offers a wide range of additional amenities, including complimentary chips, water, and a welcome drink. Really good breakfast

However, it appears that the overall condition of the hotel is somewhat worn and in need of renovation.

The size of the room and the private bathroom is very good for a husband and wife with one child. Parquet floors and big windows with a garden view.

No lift or ramp to transfer luggage from hotel entrance to hotel reception ground floor. No fly screens for hotel room windows.
