A warm nest to stay for a visit to Monsaraz and wide environment. Easy to find, allowing the discovery of the beautiful views on lake and fortress town. Ideal for families with children as they can enjoy the animals and the swimming pool setting. Good breakfast, served as from 830. Parking spaces were covered against the sun. Perfect hosts Suzanna and Vasco, help with whatever you need, watersports, restaurants, etc. Almost perfect darkness in the room.

All was very clean, except the spider webs in the corners of the room, very visible in morning light. Spiders are death due to insect vapour. The entrance to the hotel of the road is quite bumpy, but I am certain the hosts are planning to fix this.

Great place, very well-located (less than 10m by car from Monsaraz and Alqueva fluvial beach). The bedroom was great, very comfortable and super clean. The jacuzzi and the sofa outside were a plus, very pleasant to read and rest or eat a light snack (there is also a small fridge and microwave inside). Having a pool was also nice to refresh!

The water from the shower changed very quickly from hot to cold, a bit difficult to control. Also, sometimes the wi-fi did not work very well.

What a magical place! Great location to see the stars and the castle at Monesrras. The decor is eclectic and beautiful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Llamas, deer, donkeys, and meerkats! The hosts are so nice and it was wonderful to hear the history of the property (in Vasco's family for >300 years)! And you can see Spain from the patio. GREAT location for a peaceful getaway.

The hosts very helpful and friendly. The location is very good, peaceful and tranquil with great views. The room was a very good size (I'm writing this in a much, much smaller bedroom located in Marvão) with a nice bathroom and I really liked the fact that the access to the room could also be done directly from the outside through a small, private patio. Good breakfast with some variety. Swimming pool with several sunbeds and sitting areas. Loved the sound of the wind chime. A place to return...

The shower/hot water was difficult to keep at a steady temperature.

Very welcoming and friendly staff who were readily available to help me with the jacuzzi and left breakfast out for me when I overslept the breakfast time. It's a great place to relax and explore the countryside, especially if you like llamas! I recommend booking the bungalow for stargazing from the jacuzzi and staring off into nature.

Good (but simple) breakfast, nice surroundings, friendly staff. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Easy parking. The room's balcony was very inviting.

The pool was a bit noisy and dirty (but has a good sitting area for those who enjoy a bit of shade). The WiFi had bad signal across most of the property. The water temperature regulator in the bath was not functioning properly (either too hot or too cold).

Amazing service and super friendly welcome, lovely hosts. The setting is incredible, great views, so quiet and calm, great connection with the animals and nature.

Bed was a bit hard and small. Swimming pool wasn't as clean as I'd like personally.

Very nice welcoming from our lovely host. Location is perfect next to Monsaraz and it is also very quiet. The animals living around the place are really cool to see, the lama, the ponies or the 3 cute meerkats.

What an amazing place! A great balance with nature, so peacefull. We liked everything, the pool, the animals, the breakfast. It was really good to take a break in this place. Thank you for all the hospitality.

Dark Sky location, friendly and accommodating host, delightful breakfast with some items available 24 hours, refreshing pool and lots of animals around the property.
