Hotel de Charme Casa Fundevila

Everything was perfect. The staff are very nice and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, the AC was perfect for the summer heat. The common living room with pool table, TV, books, chess was perfect to relax at the end of the day. The swimming pool was very nice and with a lot of options to lay down to catch the sun, loved the hammocks. The location is great at just 6 minutes walking to get to the river beach. The food from the restaurant was very good. I celebrated my birthday during my stay and the staff surprised me with a birthday cake during breakfast. It was a perfect experience and I will definitely return.

For breakfast, we had to select the items we wanted of a list. The food was great, but sometimes they forgot some items or I had to ask for them again. I asked for bacon and eggs, and in 4 breakfasts, I only got the bacon and eggs hot and served together one morning.

Perfect location to visit Bol Jesus do Monte- excellent swimming pool and very friendly staff great value for money. Breakfast was great too will stay here again. It was spotlessly clean which I loved.

I didn’t like having to choose what I wanted for breakfast the day before. I suppose this is because I’m not used to that I’d prefer a buffet. However this is just a small thing the breakfast was lovely I just think it would be easier to choose it myself.

Really good location, river and river beaches a few steps away. Nice pool area. Breakfast was Made to order, which was a first for me and I found it weird, but it as very good.

Bed was not that comfortable and struggled a little bit. Also weird having fake roses hanging from the ceiling. Other than that, nothing we didn’t like at all.

Location is great in Braga's countriside with beautiful surroundings. The rooms are big and the overall space feels spacious and cozy. The pool area is perfect for relaxing by contemplating the garden and the green area. Breakfast was very good served in the restaurant that shares the place where you can even have a romantic peaceful dinner.

Staff was very kind and let us do a late check out. Restaurant, bar and pool room were spectacular. Bar closes until the last costumer leaves which let us enjoy our stay after 23h. Breakfast and Restaurant food are delicious.

Walls are thin and you can hear footsteps and showers on the rooms above and next door. Recommend bringing ear plugs if you're a light sleeper

Staff were amazing, so peaceful. Lovely location. Everything so clean. Beds extremely comfortable. Menu was in Portuguese but waiter translated and made suggestions, Jonathan went above and beyond. I never leave feedback as I never want to leave a bad review. But had to here as it was so lovely.

We loved the place. It was a full thing for us: - Nice place, near the river so we could bike around it. - Swimming pool not crowded at all. - big mention to the restaurant, great chef and great waiter ( talks french) he was so helpful that we had diner, lunch, diner, and again lunch before leaving. The food was so great, that we only went out for a ride and came back for a good lunch or diner, the lady from the breakfast was very kind as well. - Ana was so amazing and helpful, with places to visit and stuff to do and always trying to make our stay more comfy, her colleague during the day was not that helpful and you had the feeling you are disturbing if you ask anything.

In general we liked everything and will be coming back soon, we tried to book the next week but they were fully booked. But we found it very weird that we couldn’t get a second key card. And I had to wait out till my husband finished his shower to go in. After knocking many times next to the receptionist and my husband in the shower couldn’t hear, I asked for a second card, and the answer was: no, we are not authorised to give another key 😳

Located out of town. We were unaware that the restaurant in the hotel didn't open on 2 of the 3 nights that we stayed so we were a little caught out and had to improvise.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was comfortable. The staff was better than good. The breakfast was good. It was quiet but shopping, laundromat, and the advantages of Braga were easily accessible.

The coffee was terrible and the toilet seat kept sliding to the side. The WiFi was very unreliable.

Very friendly and nice employees at the hotel. Personally service and ordering of breakfest. Nice place outside, with swimmingpool.

WIFI didn't work at the room, I had the room at the end of the hall, which probably made the problem...
