Long Street Hotel

It is a motel-style accomodation in a historic district of Brasov/Kronstadt, a 25 minutes walk from the Old city center. The room was big enough, the fridge, the air condition and the TV works well. The bathroom was not new but it was clean and functional. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast started at 7:30. It was rich with sorts of coffee, eggs, salats and fruits. It is a good place to stay when you want to visit the city of Brasov, Castle Bran, Castle Peles and the fortified Church in Prejmer.

There is not enough space for the cars in the safe courtyard.

Great value for money. Amazing for the low price! Staff is amazing. Breakfast has many options and is good. The place and the area are very quiet. Is very close to the bus station for Bran castle. 30 min walk from the train station. 20 min walk to the old center. Very nice area and property. Will definitely be my only place for future trips to Brasov!

Really nothing bad to say. Is not a 5 star hotel for sure, but is perfect for enjoying Brasov for a few days

I really liked to have an option to have breakfast in my room... I also enjoyed the view from the terasse, where one could have a cigarette. The hotel room was cleany. The hotel is about 2.4 km far away from the city centre (easy available on foot).

Number of car parking spots is very limited (about 8-10 cars) and it is very difficult to get a free parking place (the hotel service could not quarantee you a car parking spot). The hotel wifi speed could be also improved. I recommend to check the hotel rooms more often by hotel service - they visited my room just once during my stay there (7 days) to take out the baskets. However, I am still giving 9/10.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. It was warm in the room-they start the heating, even if it was just the beginning of the autumn. The breakfast was tasty.

In the room they used room perfume that was too strong. The parking lot it is not very big.

The room was fairly big. There is parking in the hotel backyard. It doesn't have much space, but we manage to park there. It is free what is really good in location like that (city centre). It is close to the city centre.

The worst was that on the breakfast you don't have fresh bread. That is main thing for that breakfast that I need. Not the old moldy toast bread ... If I remember correctly the room was without air-condition ...

we booked 4 rooms at the hotel around the celebration of the new year (2023) the location is very good and close to the beautiful city center. Uber/Bolt/public transportation is available . the breakfast was fine and everyone could find something he/her liked. very recommended. I believe the value for money.

The shower heads might need replacing.

Highly recommend! Clean room, tasty breakfast, and very kind and attentive staff. They helped us to find the right bus station to get to Bran Castle and even gave us a map, so we don't get lost :) We felt safe and welcomed. This hotel will be always our choice for staying in Brașov.

The tap water offered for breakfast and the lack of other , at least purified water, not to mention a mineral one. Also the quality of breakfast (synthetic juices, dry pancakes, cheap sausages ..) and service (had to ask employees to replenish the supply of finished products (milk, bread, vegetables).

The parking is too crowded, sometimes you have to park your car outside the hotel. The breakfast area is way too small. It's not nice to wait for other people to finish their meal and watch them eat. It's a bit far from the city main attractions (old town). A long walk for a drink downtown...

The staff (especially the owner) were some of the nicest people we met. It’s their business and their taking really good care of it. Rooms were spacious enough for the value, breakfast has a solid selection to choose from (and is being delivered to your room, promptly), amenities were all good. There is interior parking and all around cameras so no issues there (although the space to maneuver is tight). The hotel is approx. 20 min away from downtown (in a straight line) so we enjoyed the daily walk and exercise (plus is quieter).

Nothing major to dislike but maybe just feedback for the hosts - bathroom facilities start degrading over time so maybe look at replacing them sometime (i.e. the bolt that holds the toilet into place is missing so the entire thing leans over, the plastic is stained, etc.) Otherwise no issues with anything in our stay.
