Ramilton Old Town Hostel

I had an amazing stay at this youth hostel in the heart of Stockholm. The location was perfect, right in the city center, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, with a great atmosphere for meeting fellow travelers. I especially enjoyed the common area, which had a warm and welcoming vibe. If you're looking for a budget-friendly and enjoyable place to stay in Stockholm, this hostel is a fantastic choice!

Despite the plethora of negative reviews from a number pf previous guests, I took a chance on this famous/infamous Stockholm institution and was pleasantly surprised. You basically get what you pay for, but it's a fair nicer hostel than others in the same price bracket.

Enough already with Stockholm hostels hitting its guests with a surprise extra fee on arrival for bedding and a towel. Just include it in the original price. I always feel scammed when I have to pony-up a 50 or 60 SEK for this outrageous extra.

Beds were good, lots of wall sockets to plug in your devices. The staff were super nice, the lounge area was great and generally, felt safe staying here and the location is superb. I was actually shocked to look at the reviews for this place, I think you get what you pay for here, of course its not a 5 star hotel with a pool filled with models, however it does it's main job - lets you put your head down in a clean bed at night and get a good nights sleep.

The only problem I could find here, was the cleanliness of the shared restrooms. As a student, I don't think it's such a problem. Just use a paper towel to close the tap and open the door when you're done.

Stayed here three times already. Great location, friendly and helpful stuff, cheap price. Beds are comfy, rooms clean enough, there's also a kitchen with a lot of available stuff for cooking, it's nice. The feeling when you drop off from the hostel right to the streets of the old town is amazing.

Shower room smells badly sometimes. Some people don't behave well, talk on the phone at 3 am in the common corridor or turn on their loud music in the kitchen, but that's probably not really the fault of the hostel.

The receptionists were both very nice person and you'll know the hostel is good or not from them 🙂 Especially one of them is very friendly, nice and you'll be fascinated by his character ! This hostel has many rooms and each room has small number of ppl like 4 or 6 ppl. Not something like 15 ppl in a one room and comfy

Nothing wrong.

The location was very convenient, the facilities were appropriate and in good condition despite the construction work going on and there was no problem with other guests either.

Super centralized and great location. It was clean, of easy access and pretty easy to get in and get in touch with the staff

The bathroom was too far from some bedrooms (and at night they close 1 of then (the one that’s close to reception)

The staff were fantastic, really welcoming and very helpful. The best hostel i have ever stayed at!

The hostel catered everything there was nothing to dislike

A downside to being underground was the lack of windows, however, the temperature throughout the hostel was regulated pretty well

The style is very nice and the location worth the money. It’s very comfortable and safe place.

In my last day the shower doesn’t work and the kitchen may be cleaner
