Jungfrau Hotel

First of all we loved the location of the hotel. We got a room with a balcony. amazing views of Jungfrau. Calm, quiet and having a local vibe. Breakfast was good. Special mention to Karima evening The receptionist was fantastic. She helped us a lot in providing guidance on what to visit. Me and my wife appreciate her help throughout our stay. The check in and check out process was easy as well. Also special mention to people in the dining area was very welcoming during our breakfast times. Overall, we had a good experience at Jungfrau Hotel. Easy access to wilders Wil train station. The convenience store is nearby as well.

The price is slightly high. I guess we arrived in peak season. But a touch expensive for our liking.

Great location with wonderful views of the mountains. You feel part of the town. Close to the railway station and key attractions. Staff were super friendly and helpful

I liked everything

Thanks God that the weather was great during our stay so we had such as gorgeous view of Jungfrau right in front of our balcony. It took us a 10 minute walk (15 minutes with luggages) to get to Alpine INN. The room was clean and tidy, and the space was just right for 2 persons. We had chill moments at the hotel. Breakfast was provided in the little house near the entrance. If you prefer quiet neighbourhood, Wilderswil is a good choice with two supermarkets near the train stations.

Scrambled egg was very likely to be overcooked. Be aware that not to be too late to back to Wilderswil as bus/ train after 9:30pm are infrequent (We almost missed the last bus to Wilderswil from Interlaken).

Proximity to Wilderswil train station (by walking) and Grindelwald (by car). At least two superettes that are open till at least 7pm during weekdays. Within walking distance to an excellent bakery that opens very early in the morning. View of the mountains from the rooms. Hotel provided a tourist card that gave discounts for nearby attractions and free travel on local public transport.

Far away from restaurants and other shops... Need to take the bus or car into Interlaken to have a choice of restaurants and shops. The frequency of the bus is quite low so you have to consult the timetable and plan accordingly.

I stay at Alpine hotel which is another building apart from the main hotel. It took around 5 minutes walk deep in the alley from the main hotel. However, it value for money if compare to others in Interlaken. It still close to Wilderswil train station, in which direct to Lauterbrunnen and Grinderwald, just 5-8 minutes walk. From the room's window could see Jungfrua. Room is comfy, warm and clean. Bathroom not too small and shower is excellent as the water could not getting out and the floor would not wet (if you flood the floor, you will need to pay 100 CHF :)

If you stay at Alpine, the alley a bit dark at night.

Everything was really well, the room was very spacious with great view of the alpine and mountain. Breakfast was decent and is near to the room. The hotel is a great value for money and is quite near to the train station. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!

We didn't experience anything that was not good. We had a very good stay in Jungfrau hotel. However if the options in Breakfast can be added, it would really help the guests from India.

From the moment we checked in we were looked after by someone who showed a lot of attention to detail and clear care for the hotel and its guests. it can be tricky to appreciate good stays in Switzerland when coming from abroad due to the high prices from a foreigner’s point of view, and this stay was not cheap while providing the very necessities. The room however had everything you need and it was very clean. Continental breakfast was served and the fresh bread and local cheese were delicious. And then there is the terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. I would certainly stay here again.

It’s simple accommodation without any luxuries, however one could see the managers did what they can to add little touches here and there to make it special.

The hotel is central and has a great restaurant, which offers a small discount for guests (and a reduced menu off-hours, a nice option). I enjoyed the corner room with two windows, one with the promised view of the Jungfrau (and southern exposure). While the furnishings are not very new, I appreciated the wood floors, bedding and private balcony.

The décor could be updated a bit. I also felt the half-board dinner, which I had on one night, was not as good as the normal menu.

The receptionist was very friendly and always reminds the clients to approach her to ask any questions. The food was excellent! Although they are short in personnels in the restaurant, they made sure that clients are happy and satisfied. Great view from my room. The location is perfect for travellers who use public transports, it is just about 5mins walk to the bus and train stations to different directions including Schynige Platte. There are also grocery stores, bars and other restaurants nearby.

The windows only had drapes and I always had to pull it out whenever I change clothes, because I had the weird feeling that I could be seen from the other hotel since it's really close and I was staying on the first floor. A second layer of a curtain, the thin one, would have been good. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was weak, almost not working. And the shower curtain seemed like it hasn't been change for a while and has a weird smell.

The location is very good, walking distance from a bus stop, a gas station, groceries and other stores. Breakfast is simple but complete. There is an underground parking space, which is great for preventing your car from getting covered in ice and snow. The staff is very kind and helpful - we got very nice tips in the reception about attractions, tours, etc. But the best part is the view! Simply stunning! You can contemplate the mountains in all their majesty, either from your room or from the hotel's restaurant.

The room size is kinda average, not bad. Overall, cleanliness was good, we just saw some dust under the bed, but the rest was clean, including the furniture, bathroom, and bed sheets. Other than that, there is not much to complain about. The hotel's structure and services are good, and the price charged seemed fair to me. Worth it!
