Queens Hotel II

+1 on the free coffee and tea +1 smooth check in and check out +1 shower and bathroom available in the lobby so if you landed early and cant check in yet you may use it + you can leave your luggage if its not yet time for check in +they allowed me to check in early at 1pm insteaf of 3pm since the room is already available usually 1 hr after the 12nn check out is their cleaning time window

- its good location near bus stop but few mins away from taipei main station - its clean but there are some stain on the blanket. Overall bathroom is clean and no noticeable smell. Carpet just need additional vacuum and cleaning

Receptionist was very thoughtful, turned on aircon in our room pre-arrival as we arrived late at night and the room was hot in the afternoon. She also spoke English well and was super helpful! Our room was a queen with no window, quite clean modern and tidy. Has mini fridge, hairdryer, hot water shower, cups, clothes hangers and toiletries. No safe or spoons (but you probably could request them from reception). Location-wise, Queen's Hotel 2 is great as it is less than 1 km to Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan MRT, also close to multiple shopping areas like Ximen and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The building Queen is in is a bit rustic and dodgy looking, but the hotel (on the 4th floor) itself is fine, elevator is included. Lots of power points for charging in our room. Lots of places to eat and convenience stores around Queens.

Shower was half sealed off so water from shower kinda got everywhere in the bathroom, would be good to have fully closed off shower.

Good value, near to ningxia night market and Dihua cultural streets, walking distances to at least 3 metro stations including Taipei main station. At first when you enter the complex is was quite an old old building but the hotel floor )4th) is fully renovated and modern. This hotel was the first that I find meets more international 3 star in terms of cleanliness, affordability, clean/make up room. This was the only 3 starred hotel that made my bed everyday when the others in Taiwan did not!! Obviously I was really happy!

This hotel is really hidden gem right in Taipei downtown I read review and a bit confused at first due to the hallway to enter level 4, which hotel locates. But dont let the shabby building fool you... it is another paradise when you get level 4. A bit small but cozy, very clean, modern design and the restroom is superb The receptionist is 10/10, exceptional Not so close to Main station but I love it, only 700meters away but you can enjoy peaceful streets, plenty of foods and convenient stores. Definitely go back

The hotel was well located in Taipei: 10 minutes walk to the main train station. Beds were comfy and they had free coffee and tea in the reception (and in the room). They have dehumidifiers running in the hallway to make sure the hotel does not smell humid. Great WiFi Note: - On Google Maps, it’s called “Hotel New Queen 2” - The entrance is inside a generic building, find the elevator and go to the 4th floor.

Very convenient location as it is of walkable distance from Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan Station. Also walkable to Ningxia night market and Pier 5. Family Mart and 7-11 just across the streets, and cafes and food nearby the area. There is also a shared area that has a microwave and water dispenser. Staff also allowed us to keep our luggage for 4 days while we were travelling parts of Taiwan before coming back to Taipei for the last 2 days. Room was fine with basic amenities, worth it for its price!

Shower area could have came with a full glass door (it was only half) or a shower curtain. The toilet area was always wet because of this. Poor soundproofing, could constantly hear the slightess noises when people were passing by the corridor or talking. Quite difficult to find the building - building was a bit run down but not too much of a problem.

If you arrive early it is possible to freshen up and take a shower (super clean) and store your luggage. Personnel is very friendly. I even extended my stay with 2 days. the location is perfect, a lot of places to eat and near a very local nightmarket.

The entire place was very clean and comfortable to stay in! The hotel also accommodated all of our requests and helped us with our shuttle services. We could leave our luggages as well when we check out and still need to go around

I think a bidet for the bathroom would be great and the hotel is quite hard to find since it's on the 4th floor. But would definitely book here again since it's just walking distance from the metro and a night market

Good and strategic location. Very near to night market. Walkable distance to airport MRT, city MRT, bus and train stations. You can consult hotel staff for directions.

Outside weather sure is cold to 8 degree, and our room can be a bit cold. Might be because it is old building. To reach hotel, need to go through public entrance of old store building. Glad the neighbour store is friendly and we asked for directions. Bed is a bit small, but tolerable.

The place is clean and near taipei main station and ningxia night market. It's very accessible and near restaurants and convenience stores. We loved Bafang dumplings which is just across the street from the hotel. The staff is nice and accommodating. They even let us borrow plates for the microwave. ❤️❤️❤️

The volume of the room's tv could have been louder (max 32 was too low huhu)
