Had a clean room with complete amenities that should meet the needs of every solo traveller. Had a small incident in the room involving the ventilation cover which was immediately remediated by the management team. Sincerity in handling the matter was truly appreciated.
Upper level accessible via stairs only. The staff is however very helpful with moving my bags upon check out.

The hotel is really close to Taipei Central Station, Taipei City Mall exit 15 and Ningxia Night Market. The rooms (I experienced two of them) were clean and with all amenities you would usually need for a stay in a low-budget city hotel. A safe, blowdryer and bathroom accessories for instance. The staff was very friendly and they kindly accepted to store my luggage for me.
So, the lobby was most unoccupied which was quite a bother as I needed assistant in the morning and waited 25 minutes for someone to appear. It seems like the house keeping simultaneously takes the role of receptionist without any knowledge of the English language. We communicated via google translate, what kinda worked. The room I booked explicitly mentioned a window which simply did not exist (a window was actually the reason I chose this hotel, as many Taipei rooms in this price category do not come with one). After asking about this, I was upgraded to another room in the fourth floor, but they explicitly told me the room category „Premium double“ does not come with a window (even though written in the description). The hallway is extremely noisy and the rooms come with multiple light sources which cannot be turned off. Also, there is no elevator, so if you are in the upper floors you will need to carry your baggage yourself (the kind staff offered to carry my small bag though). The WiFi blocks most non-Taiwanese websites so it was pretty much useless to me.
