Swiio Hotel Daan

The hotel was really a great surprise, I didnt expect too much of it at the beginning because I first chose it due to its location (I wanted to be in that district). But once I got to the hotel, it was a great surprise, it was super clean, great staff, and the room was marvelous. I have lived in Taiwan for so many years, and this is the top hotel I have every stayed in Taiwan!

We had to pay an addition 1500twd just because the bidet/toilet bowl remote control? falls off when we push the flush button and it dropped into the toilet bowl. The thing was just secured with a 3M tape which surprised all of us. We were initially told to pay full amount but after speaking to the staff that it wasn’t secured in the first place. We were still being told to pay nonetheless. Maybe the hotel can do something to this situation as having something mounted with a 3M tape is bound to wear and tear overtime and all the more is mounted right beside the toilet bowl, which such incidents will bound to happen.

I had a wonderful stay at the Swiio Hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was very hospitable. The room design was beautiful (clean minimalist) and liked the extra touches with the scents, free mini bar, pillows. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! I didn’t want to leave.

Wi-Fi connection was poor. I had some important meetings on Zoom so needed good connection. The staff was helpful to improve the situation before I had more online meetings.

Design is very modern and minimalist, and size of room was big for Taipei standards. Minibar was free (including beer) and there were lots of interesting hidden away scents and gadgets for you to discover within the room. Bathtub was super big and great to relax at end of the day. Bed was very comfortable with pillow menu, and didn't notice any noise at night. Housekeeping was super fast. Hotel also helped to arrange airport transfer from hotel to airport at NTD1000 (cheaper than airport rate). Lots of great high-rating eateries around and easy walking distance to East district. The location is not near the train station, it's a 10-15 minute walk to either Da-an, Zhongxiao Fuxing or Zhongxiao Dunhua - but if you're ok to walk then there's many cafes and shops to discover in the alleys.

Just a suggestion to have more hooks to hang towels in the bathroom, we had to pull out the laundry line to use which was weird. Price was slightly high but we stayed over the new year period, so understandable.

We loved staying at this hotel! The minimalist design and the spacious rooms were great. Loved the sofa bed that you can relax on. The scents provided in the room were beautiful, as well as the Laundress set. The location was great - close to MRT stops and many trendy cafes and restaurants.

The technology in the room were cool, but not very useful. Air ventilation could be improved, since it took a while for the room to get dry after taking a shower. I wish the window could open for fresh air. The free laundry machine was awesome and much-needed, but the dryer was not very effective - even after 30 minutes our clothes were still damp.

I love the detail of all facilities and room is pretty clean. I feel really relax and feel like I m living at home.

amazing design, friendly team, comfortable location - all in all - really GREAT experience

the restaurant connected to the hotel wasn't as great as the hotel. they close early evening, so you can't even have a drink later. The breakfast they serve (really slow to be honest...) for the hotel guests has very limited vegetarian options.

Room and location are almost perfect. Ameneties such as shoe cleaning kits and fabirc refresheners are well considered. Loved the Grohe shower head and bose speaker

Water leaks from shower, silocone water stopper/ waterproof strip could be improved Visible dust observed under the bed needs attention. Portion of bath salt are a little less.

Well designed hotel room in the centre of Da'an. The staff were excellent and provided extra assistance when we left some belongs in a taxi. The bed was very comfortable and the bath and shower both excellent.

Good stable WiFi, good place to work, modern interior. Good coffee on the room. Friendly staff and speaking perfect English. Late checkout was possible for 30min later. Just across the street some good Restaurants for lunch.

Little far from MRT, there is Hotels with better location. Beds are soft.
