Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Hotel

Really close to airport with free shuttle. Very clean. We booked executive room so free lounge with tea and coffee and snacks was great. Definitely would stay again

The Free airport shuttle is an excellent benefit and runs every hour. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staying in the Deluxe Plus room gave me access to the Lounge, free minibar, 20% discount on food and 2 pcs daily free laundry.

The choice of snacks in the Lounge could have been better and checked more regular.

We had to change our reservation as my wife hurt her hip. At short notice, we had a room with wheelchair access, we used the hotel wheelchair after the shuttle dropped us at the airport, and the hotel airport porter got us fast track booked in, and linked us with the KLM/Air France wheel chair and porter. The hotel had already checked what time the KLM desk opened and advised us what time to get free transit to airport , to minimise hold ups. All staff were so helpful. We have stayed before , and we will stay again as they make everything so comfortable.

Lots of space in the room. Knowing Thai beds are hard, the beds were what was expected, but a little hard. The shuttle was really easy - we advised the time of arrival and someone was waiting for us as we entered the arrivals area at the airport. It was about a 15 minute drive to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety, with scrambled and fried eggs, dhal, fruits, pastries and Thai breakfast options. Bags were delivered to our rooms.

The view outside is either towards floating housing or shed looking buildings. There was a sign to not open the door due to mosquitoes. This view actually wasn't bad because it was interesting to look outside at the real Bangkok. I got to see a local giant monitor (lizard) swimming around in the water.

This hotel is about a half hour from the Bangkok International airport and we wanted to be close to the airport as Bangkok was just a quick stop during our travels. The hotel is very reasonably priced and facilities are good. The hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the airport. We didn't have a lot of time for touring and spent most of our leisure time at the pool. It is great.

Although the location is close to the airport, that is about all it is close to. Restaurant meals were adequate but not great.

The hotel property was well maintained and exceptionally clean, as was the room. Check in was relatively easy and pleasant. The restaurant was excellent in both food and service. We were there in the low season so my friend and I had the place to ourselves. Special kudos to the manager, who made us smoothies with mixed flavors by request (strawberry/mango instead of either one). The airport shuttle was a significant factor in my decision to book here and it was a welcome convenience. The driver was prompt, courteous, and got us to the airport in plenty of time for our flight.

The water in the shower never got hot, or even warm. It was cool/tepid at best. It would be fine on a hot day, but not so much for relaxing tired muscles. Also, the shower was in a tub with VERY slippery footing. There was no mat or textured surface to reduce the chance of a fall; I had to be very careful using soap as I showered. Overall, that seems a very strange experience to have in a five star hotel. I suggest the property manager consider addressing these matters, especially the slippery tub/shower.

We stayed overnight after our flight from the U.K. before taking transport the next day to our villa in Hua Hin, the meet and greet at the airport and the transport to the hotel was very good. The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice and friendly, our only disappointment was the bar area as there was no bar staff and the way to get drinks was by telephone to the restaurant also it was made very clear that the bar closed at 11 pm where as after arriving quite late we would have liked to have enjoyed the bar are a little longer. The restaurant and staff the next morning were excellent and overall we would recommend the hotel and definitely stay again.

This is our go-to hotel when flying in or out of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The staff are consistently gracious and welcoming, kind and helpful. The rooms are updated, comfortable, roomy. The facilities - including fitness room, swimming pool and spa - are very nice. The on-site restaurant is very good too. And they offer a free airport shuttle. It’s a relaxing and enjoyable experience staying there.

The hotel room could use a few more electrical outlets.

The hotel is perfect for anyone travelling out of Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport. It's a short 15 minute taxi from the airport and the hotel does provide a free airport shuttle every hour, both to and from the airport. It's a modern spacious hotel: the rooms are very spacious, nice walk-in showers, a good restaurant and gym, pool and spa. The hotel is also nearby 3 different shopping malls, if you want to get any last minute shopping done, before you fly out of Dubai.

Airport shuttle was well organised, efficient and reliable (although the hotel is very close to the airport it is important to note that it still takes 20 mins to make the transfer - more at busy traffic times). Staff were friendly and efficient.

Might be useful if the hotel provided clear info on the best ways to travel to and from locations other than airport (eg to city centre). For such a big and busy city this can be complicated.
