Copper Queen Hotel

I enjoyed the location which was near everything. It also had a great vibe and a saloon with live music and outdoor patios to relax, chat and drink. I ate breakfast at the restaurant and it was delicious even though it was pricey. The waitress was great. She seemed to be a little overwhelmed and always in a hurry but did her best to take care of our group.

Had to pay $24 for overnight parking. There was also a coffee maker in the room but the small bottles of water to use it were $4 each. I also didn’t enjoy that they don’t start checking in until 3p on the dot even though there are rooms available earlier. This results in a huge line of people waiting to check in at 3p and with the slow check in process, you can easily wait an hour to get your room.

Nice old feeling to the hotel. Really enjoyed that and walking distance to great places. Enjoyed the music in the bar both times we hung out there. Very cool old hotel.

Bar service pretty much sucked. Gal working walked by our table about 10 times carrying on 1 or 2 things to the kitchen. Never noticed the empty beer glass that could’ve been refilled a couple more times. We were just 1 beer buyers that night. Ordered a burger during lunch and it came back very rare. The waitress/ bartender was fine and took it back but when it came back to us it was still on the rare side. I did eat it though because it was better than the first time. The shower did not put out a good spray. Maybe there were too many people showering so the pressure was low. Water hot hot, that’s good.

Very nice historic hotel ( well over 100 years old) Has in room accommodations that most hotels in town don't have. We had a lot of friendly interaction with the staff and guests. Definite do again.

As with anything now days staff shortages are a real issue! The restaurant menu was not complete and service was not as fast as it should have been. Parking in a turn of the 19th century town is not ever fun this was no exception but doable. You can walk almost everywhere.

Waitresses in the restaurant were friendly and efficient!

The entertainment in the bar was VERY loud. We were exhausted after a busy day and the music did not end until after 9. We heard every word of every song in our room on the 3rd floor. Also, the TV was constantly trying to sync so it was useless. It's a good thing we were tired and didn't want to watch! 😊

This is an historic hotel in the heart of the old, historic part of Bisbee. It is within easy walking distance of great shopping and several good restaurants. A run up the hilly roads and numerous, steep steps is a good workout!

My room was very dark. I am an older person whose eyes do not work well in low light. Reading in bed required using my headlamp. When I arrived, my television did not work although as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk, it was taken care of. The room was a little short of electrical plugs (for my laptop). {The bathroom was well-lit and very clean!}

ate breakfast at the coffee shop across the street; no in-house breakfast service was either mentioned at the reception desk, or was it apparent in the morning. i loved the location, the vintage feel of the hotel -- including the quirky elevator! -- and the friendliness of the staff, including the hard-working housekeeping crew.

i wish the beds had had those "expensive bedspreads" that the website mentioned. i also wish another comforter was available for the second queen (bed, not me). i asked at the front desk, but didn't receive one. i wish there were enough propsticks to keep each window open -- we resorted to using the ice bucket. finally, i wish there were more lamps, especially the bedside (just one, for two nightstands) and the ceiling fan/lamp combination.

The location was Ideal. If you appreciate early Arizona history, Copper Queen is the perfect place to stay. It was interesting to roam around the property and look at all the historical decor. Sitting outside on the patio in front of the hotel was relaxing.

Our room had an overpowering Lysol smell however, it was very clean. Breakfast was inexpensive but my pancakes were cold and served without butter or syrup. Ceiling light needs a lower wattage bulb.

Great location and we love historic hotels!

The room we stayed in was cute, but too small for 2 adults and 2 dogs. I would suggest getting a room with 2 beds, in that case. We ordered wings and 2 desserts. The food was never delivered to the room as promised and went to check on it and it was at the front desk, too cold to eat and kitchen was already closed. I am sure it would have been great, if delivered and warm.

Location was the best part of booking this hotel

It is a historic (old) hotel and as such, our first room had a problem with the plumbing and we had to move to a different room (upgraded by the hotel staff which was good) and then the second room that we moved to had a water leak from above in the bathroom on the morning we were to leave. We managed to use the bathroom, but not without a little anxiety, as the leak was into the ceiling next to the light fixture.

The location is amazing! Walking distance to pretty kuch everything you'd want to do. The history is the building is interesting as well. Angie, who works the from desk, was by far my favorite person. She was so sweet and helped us get everything we needed. We plan to come by as soon as we can!

We didn't see any ghosts :(
