Baymont by Wyndham Kingman

We needed a room for just one night in order to break-up our long trip back home. The room was exceptionally clean, check-in was easy, and the location was just right. I accidentally left one of my airpods in the bed, and they called me to let me know. They also made arrangments to mail me my airpods (at my expense) since I was too far to return to get them. The manager was super nice and never made it feel like an inconvenience. Will definitely consider staying there again when breaking up a long drive.

Very friendly welcome by the receptionist upon arrival. It's a basic hotel, but that's what I anticipated on. Good price. Good location. Could park right in front of the room. Walking distance to fast food restaurants, short distance driving to the town's centre. Make sure you do that and check out the diner next to the little train and the small museum. It was an awesome Route 66 experience and great breakfast! Kingman was better than I expected. Nice town for a stop over.

The bathroom is really small, which didn't bother me, but it could be hard when you're a bigger person. City centre is about a 5-10 minute drive away (which also didn't bother me), but make sure you visit that during your stay. it's worth it.

No carpets in the room, which gives a better look and feels cleaner. If your plan is to stop to sleep and do absolutely nothing in Kingman, this is very conveniently situated right next to the freeway entrance/exit.

If you're planning to spend time in Kingman and visit, you probably want to look elsewhere as it's located in a pretty industrial part of town with nothing convenient nearby. Also the listing said "breakfast included" but I was told that they weren't doing it because of COVID. I would have understood that some month ago but now that the mask mandates are lifted and most things have gone back to normal... that sounded like a pretty weak excuse.

Good option for the price. Comfortable bed, big room, spacious parking. No breakfast, but plenty of options within a walking distance, including Denny’s that works 24/7. Thanks to the amazing lady at the reception we were able to use laundry room. it’s 2 dollars for washing and 2 for dryer.

The room was quite dusty, though in general the linen and towels were good and also we had a new couch. The place may seem to be noisy as it stands at the intercession of several roads, but we were too tired from the road so slept like babies and nothing disturbed us.

they advertised free breakfast (it was even on their sign) but they did not have breakfast. the pool was closed & I was not told when I called and asked if they had a pool before booking. they messed up my reservation for my friends in a 2nd room. My friends went a got a room at the hotel next to Red Roof. It worked out ok because they wanted a pool. So I stayed at their hotel most of the time. With that said, Red Roof immediately refunded me on the 2nd room. Aside for a bed that was not up to the standards you'd expect in a hotel of at least 2.5 stars, it was not too bad as I still got a good nights sleep.

This place had a lot of conveniences, on-site laundry, located very close to retail shopping and restaurants. Very easy to access major roads, which makes it easy to find.

While have access to many conveniences they do bring road noise. While the laundry is great they need to make sure more machines are operating than not. As a traveler I rarely bring laundry soap. You should have a detergent dispenser.

First night we stayed, we had a very bad mattress but everything else was great. The second night we stayed, we let the desk person know we had a bad experience before. The person let us check out the room first. That mattress was great. I do not know if we are correct but not long after we checked in, we saw that a mattress was disposed of and it looked awfully like the first one we slept on with the sagging area in the same spot. So, we believe that the bad mattress situation was remedied immediately. The entire facility was very clean and we will return!

We had everything we could wish for. It was a cozy place for a night on the way from the Grand Canyon to Los Angeles. The staff was very friendly and also the room had everything fitted into it that we needed for our stay. Even some decaf coffee was there to boil. I would gladly come back to this place.

The room was very spacious with modern furniture. Bed and sink area were clean. The receptionist was friendly.

There was room for a table and chairs, but there were none. The porcelain tile floor needs to be mopped. The sandy dirt on the floor made our feet dirty. Having breakfast would have been helpful.

I absolutely love the staff, especially Ms. Kaitlin. She was so sweet! The room was very clean and comfortable. They satisfied all my requests and needs. I would definitely stay again.

I didn't like that the room didn't have an iron. I was pleased with everything else.
