Desert Palms Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort

Great location in regards to both Disneyland/Adventure Park and Anaheim Convention Center. Nice pool, a lot of times we had the pool to ourselves. Clean, little to no noise from the hotel itself.

Little to no healthy options for breakfast. No brown bread, but doughnuts, muffins and waffles galore. But it seems this light be a cultural difference between European and American breakfast culture.

Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were very spacious, comfortable beds and good facilities. The breakfast was fantastic and great to eat it on the rooftop patio on a sunny morning! The room and whole hotel was very clean. Lots of places to eat nearby (or in the hotel itself), and of course very easy access to Disneyland which is an easy 5 minute walk away. Couldn't be happier.

The decor is a little shabby and dated in the corridors (carpets particularly), and I was a little concerned when we first arrived that it was going to be a rather downmarket experience. Nothing could be further from the truth as the bedrooms and main reception are well appointed and this hotel is actually a little gem. A little spruce-up in the corridors would work wonders for first impressions and would show the hotel to be the relaxing, comfortable and welcoming place that it really is.

Close to the attractions we wanted and the parking garage was very convenient. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The little restaurant in the hotel lobby was fantastic!

The breakfast provided by the hotel was great, but you were supposed to stay in the dining room to eat and they do not let you make a plate and take your food back to your room. This was difficult for us b/c we have 4 kids and I would have to get everyone up and ready at once to go eat instead of bringing the food to them and letting them eat while they get ready. My little ones do not sit and eat their meal all at one time and they needed to be able to finish their food later in the morning.

I can sum it up with a great location! Great atmosphere! Amazing rooms! 100/10 will definitely stay there but only next time with all of the family since now we know everyone will be happy with the hotel! For my first time booking a trip and taking charge of all the things to plan it out. I was extremely happy with how easy it was to book with Desert Palms. Also, I was amazed by how easy the staff made it to enjoy our stay. From the beginning, you are told anything you need to know and are explained about the things they offer. In my case, I had a last-minute change of plans and I informed them that I wanted to come in earlier and they gladly helped out and allowed me to come in before check-in. Once in our room, I was genuinely surprised with the size of the room and the comfort you felt just being in there. I believe the amount I paid was perfect for what I received. Everything was so clean and nice the bathroom where spotless and anything we needed was right to our disposal and if we needed anything at all it was just a phone call and within minutes we had it. The breakfast was stunning! The staff, on the other hand, is amazing! everyone my wife and I met in the hallways was so nice and polite. We were able to make a conversation with them and by far one memory we won't forget. Overall as for someone who has never booked an entire trip I was proud to have chosen this hotel because it exceeded my expectations several times!

The only thing I could think about just to fill this spot is that maybe they could offer trays to be able to take the food back to the room and also that maybe for next time they can talk about how the parking can be extended. However, this does not make a dent in the hotel. Like I said prior this hotel is a must-visit.

Great place! We usually stay at another hotel that is across the street from Disneyland, but chose the Desert Palms this time to save a little bit of money and to take advantage of the free breakfast. We were still totally in walking distance to the park (10 minutes vs. 2 minutes), enjoyed a larger space (we had a 1 bedroom suite, sleeps 6), and enjoyed the free breakfast. The parking areas are monitored by security guards, and when there was an issue with our vehicle (my fault), they got a hold of me right away and were very kind. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and happy to help us. The TV setup could be a bit better - there are a lot of channels and no guide - in the TV or in the room. That's my one minor complaint about the room!

The "fake cheese" used in the omelets at breakfast was unfortunate and a turn off.

the hotel is always clean, there’s always staff available to help. We loved the bonus of the area off the lobby with a constantly running Disney movie. A great place for the kids to chill out. The pool was always clean and warm enough for a swim, even in chilly weather. And the hotel is perfectly located for a walk to Disney, no need for the shuttle. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the ease of the free breakfast. the staff kept the place IMMACULATE, and always made sure the food was fresh and plentiful. The only thing missing would be a selection of fresh fruit, other than orange slices.

close - walking distance to Disney, room clean, we had a free upgrade which was so appreciated - our room was very comfy and we would definitely come back. I think parking was also free which was great as we rented a car. there are shops nearby to get snacks or water from and there is a shop in the hotel too

Breakfast was very basic and if you didn't come first very early, things would be gone and not readded... Lot's of kids as is expected from a hotel near Disney meaning the lovely outside pool and jakkuzi was a bit crazy until it closed... (i guess this is good for kids as they can burn last bits of energy they ahve left) also no cash or phone payments at the small shop at the reception, it had to be a physical card which I don't carry... not a biggie but a bit inconvenient

Room was spacious and very clean, breakfast was good for being free. Waffles were delicious everything else mediocre. Easy walk to Disneyland.

Be aware they charge $40 for early check in, even if it’s just 1 hr before and your room is ready. don’t get mad at the staff because it’s not their fault but this is a ridiculous money grab that put a bad taste in my mouth when we checked in. Instead of paying the fee that we had not budgeted for we sat in the lobby for 2 hours with our tired, hungry 4 kids as did several other families. Also, Worst shower I’ve ever had—extremely poor water pressure. Despite these issues the room was excellent and we would stay again.

Very close to Disneyland park and a very quiet hotel. We were upgraded to a bigger room for the same price which was nice. Room was clean and all amenities were there. Comfortable beds too. Staff were super friendly and really accommodating when we arrived earlier than check in allowed.

The shower takes a long time to warm up and could do with an upgrade of the shower head in general. Breakfast buffet was below average - think toast, bacon and some cereals. I would recommend eating out if you can afford it

The hotel is situated at 7-10min walk distance of the main entrance of Disneyland and California Adventure. On arrival I was upgraded free of charge to a suite. The room was large and confortable. The breakfast room is located on the top floor of the hotel and you can view some California Adventure from the rooftop area while having breakfast. The staff was very helpful in planning driver service to remote locations such as Universal Studios Hollywood or return trip to LAX.

The AC unit can be very loud even when configured to run at mininal fan speed (control panel is located within the room) and is usually set too low for confort. If you have a window above the pool area, it can be noisy during daytime because of kids playing in the pool but you would only notice if you come back early from the parks.
