hotel was clean and comfortable

it’s in a very busy area. in n out is right next door and the parking gets very congested at times because of the drive thru. room was a bit smaller, we stayed at the one in poway last week, the staff was nicer, rooms were bigger and the price was better there. however I paid for the convenience since we had a softball tournament in Santee and it was only 10 min away. the staff here was great, except the clerk manager Enerdina. we booked an extra night and she had a bit of an attitude. they didn’t have a room ready so e had to wait and I guess she didn’t feel like explaining the process? if you don’t like to deal with people maybe the front desk isn’t the place for someone like that. just a suggestion

Great location. Lots of food places nearby.

Dryer not working properly? Tried to dry washed clothes 3x but the load was still wet. We end up putting the wash in a bag and dry it at laundry shop. The guy cleaning the tables and counters did not even wash his hands before serving our hot breakfast. It’s unsanitary specially at this time of pandemic. So we never bother to get breakfast again for the rest of our 5 days stay.

I liked the location of the hotel near markets and restaurants, as well as the service and staff were excellent, and I liked the breakfast, which was more than good, as well as the 24-hour tea and coffee service

At night the parking was full especially with construction tracks. I don't know if these guys were staying at the hotel or not. That is the only thing that I didn't like.

good hot breakfast with plenty of choices; very clean, modern, open, large, well lighted room, a well thought-out placement of furniture, picture frames, strategic placement of sockets and ports for chargers/USB, lots of drawers and even a wall mount coat rack for jackets and sweaters besides the normal clothes hangers; sliding bathroom door separates it from the bed and the sitting room; updated and clean shower stall, (no bathtub which I like) with safety grab handles. soft music in the hallway.

front parking lot is shared with cars of other customers from other nearby restaurants and stores especially Inn & Out. parking lot is busy during hours these establishments are open but there is a good number of parking spots in the back of the hotel. front desk people were not welcoming in their demeanor.

The location over all was good right off the freeway easy to find. But the parking lot its in with other businesses in the world's smallest parking lot. There is a in and out 100 ft away but they get really busy and when they do that parking lot it a nightmare. Can't drive and look around for a parking spot can't turn around. Other than that it's a good hotel really quiet for a nights rest.

The breakfast has many selections and the quality of food was great.

The worker just standing there watching us serve our food. It was uncomfortable for me to have her there watching our every move.

The location of this hotel is very vital. it’s pretty close to almost all Mediterranean restaurants. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, nice breakfast.

This hotel has on demand room service. Some guests put their trash outside their rooms and in the hall way.

Loved that this location was safe, very clean & the staff extremely responsive to our concerns & needs. The breakfast was an excellent bonus to our stay

Other than the crowd at Inn & Out burger but we remedied that by parking in the back. Just a mild concern.

The bed was SO comfortable my husband and I thought we were sleeping at home! The hotel was absolutely beautiful with just the right amount of luxury. Even though its right next to a busy restaurant parking was not bad at all. Would definitely stay again!

Nothing negative. Just had to give our door a little tug to make sure it shut.

I was blown away by this hotel! The staff are so kind, they even took in my Door Dash & Postmates orders, and helped with a WiFi issue(which turned out to be an issue with my own laptop). The room itself was amazing, the bed was perfect, there was a great desk and armchair which helped when I was working, and the TV was huge! Ideal for watching election results! Housekeeping did a great job & everything felt really safe and clean. I used the gym and there were individual towels for every guest, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. I was honestly so impressed with this hotel. I stayed in two others during the same trip and they did not comply with COVID safety measures as effectively as Hampton Inn did. Excellent stay at a really affordable price.
