Hilton Garden Inn Sacramento Elk Grove

Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Nice room furnishings.

I stayed at the hotel five times during July/Aug. Front desk woman would often lie about running out of breakfast boxes, which were offered during COVID. When pressed, she would reluctantly fetch me a box. Other desk employees retrieved the boxes happily and without complaint. Annoying. The pool wasn't cleaned often enough during busy times. For example, after one weekend with three weddings the same wad of black hair remained on the bottom of the pool for days. I know this because I swam laps daily. Not a health hazard, just gross.

the venue is located in a small business, restaurant area. plenty of parking if you don’t mind walking a little. quiet, pool is located outside next to the meeting room which keeps the noise away from the guest rooms. the in-house restaurant is an excellent eatery with plenty of choices. guest rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which is convenient when staying several days.

Honestly was in town for a wedding and didn't spent a ton of time at the hotel, staff at front desk was very nice but it was great to be able to just use my smartphone to check in and out and to get into my room

Sadly there was no open restaurant on site (due to Covid) and the breakfast was only available till 9 am, personally for a weekend I wish it was available till 10 am but overall a great hotel experience

Due to covid the breakfast was limited to a pre-boxed meal. The selection in the boxed meal offered a good selection including orange juice. Hilton Garden hotel breakfast is excellent compared to other hotels offering a limited breakfast.

The lock on the door worked, however, the door would not latch, pull on the door and it would open. We told the front desk and they moved us immediately to another room. However, the toilet in the other room was plugged so we called maintenance and they came up immediately to unclog the toilet. The toilet flushed slowly but at least it worked. We understand that these problems were not the fault of the hotel and they did address the problems quickly.

1. Our room was extremely dark which made it difficult to actually see what was in our luggage. 2. And, there was a Thanksgiving run scheduled on Thursday morning which closed Laguna street 9:00 -10:15. That meant, neither us or the family we came to visit could find a way for us to get to their home for a special Thanksgiving breakfast with them and other family members that drove in from Arizona. Disappointing! Fortunately, we had to wait only one hour. A heads up about the road closure would have been appreciated!

The breakfast spread was decent and having a short order cook on hand was an added bonus. This specific location had a lot of food options if you wanted to eat out or walk across the parking lot to bj’s. There’s a pretty decent sized shopping center close by as well. Right off the freeway.

This was our last stop before departure from Sacramento. The location is safe and close to the airport. The room was clean.

I think the price was too high for the basic room. There is an additional charge for breakfast. To be fair, all properties in Elk Grove had similar costs

Even though I don’t eat breakfast, knowing that a continental breakfast was available was really nice surprise. The week prior I stayed at the Hilton gardens across the street, and let me tell you that holiday inn will get my business every time.

Very clean and comfortable facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is wonderful. Lots of restaurants close by. Too warm for us to use the pool, but it looked really nice.

My only negative comment would be that the prices seemed to have gone up after the opening of the new casino in Elk Grove.

Very well maintained and the people were all nice!

For the price of the rooms, I feel like asking for $10 for a breakfast buffet was ridiculous. We were there with a group of several families who were all upset about that.
