The Westin Sacramento

quiet, right on the river with beautiful views. even the non river side looks out over trees. room was spacious and bathtub was AMAZING. staff was so friendly and welcoming every day, remembered who we were and genuinely asked if we needed help or anything at all each time they saw us. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. bed was comfortable, including extra pillows, and I loved using the robes as well.

the extra fee for parking when valet was the only option was unpleasant, and the pool and spa are both closed currently, which I would have enjoyed using if open. There also was no breakfast room service option for weekdays, we ended up ordering Grubhub for breakfast the day we didn’t want to go out.

Staff was excellent, room was large and very comfortable.

Room overlooked entryway. Would have been nice to have a river view. The shower had nothing to hold onto other than the soap dish. I would strongly suggest grab bars be installed in all rooms. Slick tile and nothing to hold onto made for a nervous time in the shower.

Nice, peaceful, and safe location for weary travelers. Loved the river view, fire pits, and beautiful star jasmin was in full bloom. Scott's Seafood Restaurant is conveniently located across the way.

The room curtains are gawdy and the interior curtains were stained by people touching them. Not enough TV channels. Breakfast should be included in the room price.

The room was very comfortable with nice touches such as the aromatherapy for sleep. The tub is wonderful.

Valet parking, with no option other than to release the Westin for all liability for damage to your car even if it is their fault. The cost for the valet parking also went up 100% in the last 6 months.

Loved the continental breakfast as well as the restaurant attached to the hotel. Staff was always friendly and hellpful.

Room a/c was set too low -- had to increase it several times a day

the room was very comfortable and, even though it was close to I5, it was very quiet. the lunge offered a bar and regular dining menu, so lots to choose from and the food was delicious. in the back. ear the river were two fire pits to sit by and even a Boccia court.

Next time I would spring for the River view. Beautiful property, friendly staff, quiet and comfy for a night away! Loved the tub & shower combo in the suite! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay celebrating my husband’s birthday!

Not sure why valet only is necessary.

The location was convenient to my final destination in Sacramento the next day. The food was good at the Scott's restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The door to my room was difficult to open, had to swipe my card key multiple times. at least 10 times when I first tried to get into the room, to get it to work. The morning breakfast was below my expectation.

Everything was topnotch -- food was excellent, staff was very friendly & helpful, accommodations were excellent.

There was no room service & breakfast was bad coffee & unhealthy muffins or bagels.

Room service breakfast option or healthier breakfast choices at your walk up breakfast. Also would have preferred a smart tv.
