Love the free parking, love the free breakfast, loved the room… Such a comfortable bed.. Love the Jacuzzi tub

I did not like that they charge an extra $125 for incidentals and then it takes a week to get it back. It was more than the price of my room since I booked on this site and the room was only $120. I found it infuriating that they would charge that much for incidentals when there’s not even a mini bar in the room

LOVE the quality facilities this hotel offers! From the external building to the room decor, solid and tasteful! Most impressive: quart yard with tables for casual time; breakfast and happy hour! Variety and healthy! All inclusive! Staffs are very helpful and friendly (with one exception); Great location, conveniences for Uber transportation….. Overall, great value!

It maybe ideal if the hotel can offer nearby transportation (with fee) on needed base: we needed a short ride to a assisted living facility 2-3 minute’s away; we asked the front desk but didn’t get the help. Understand this hotel doesn’t have such business, but, maybe just on a special occasion….. please give it a consideration.

The staff at the hotel was friendly and welcoming, from the reception to the kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised by the happy hour, although it's only available on weekdays excluding Fridays. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious made-to-order omelets cooked just the way I wanted. The room was very clean, and I couldn't find anything to complain about. The location was convenient, just a few minutes from Highway 5, 15 minutes from Laguna Beach, and 25 minutes from Disneyland.

There was nothing I didn't like.

As with every Ayres hotel, the value is excellent. Large clean rooms, breakfast included and the staff at every location is always great! This was out first stay in Laguna Woods and we would stay again! Free parking is a huge perk as well as charging stations.

While we did not stay on the grounds a lot during our stay, it was amazing how often we had to avoid a housekeeping cart in the elevators. It's very odd that they do not have a separate service elevator. Also, I wish there had been more areas for hanging out...we were in town with family and it was difficult to find any place to just sit and talk. Very limited lounging area.

We were very happy with every aspect of our stay. Check-in was efficient and friendly, the hotel facilities were kept to a high standard of clean, and the room was spacious and quiet. The bathrooms were also a pleasant surprise in that the sink was outside the lock door, and the shower was actually above my head. This is a consistent problem for me in hotel showers and I appreciate the extra accommodation. Water pressure was fantastic. Ceilings were high, as well, adding to the more luxurious vibe. The TV was larger than normal, the workspace was expansive, and the desk chair was very comfortable. Breakfast was also a notch above similarly priced chained hotels in that they offered made-to-order omelets with a variety of toppings, the morning staff was brilliant, and the courtyard is a pleasant place to be.

Breakfast was good, but the same breakfast every day. I was there for a long time to visit an elderly family member whose life was coming to an end. The locale was excellent for getting to his condo.

There is nothing in this part of Laguna Woods. A van a few times a day to and from Laguna Beach would have been a welcome bonus since there is nothing to do in this part of Laguana Woods. Uber is good, but the cost of uber rides for and from Laguna Beach can become expensive.

The staff were nice during check in. I do not like the new thing, "Do you think you will need housekeeping to come into your room. They will not change the sheets and if you need towels or anything all you have to do is let us know. The smell for breakfast was amazing!! It was clean and having a cook to cook for you is wonderful. I loved having a bath with the jacuzzi, it felt wonderful. I do not know of 1 thing I could complain about.

The noise at night seemed to be more than I expected, but we were on the 1st floor, which I have never been on before.

The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This location was a good midway point between the freeway, beach, shopping and restaurants. Close to a supermarket. The included breakfast was very good.

No bathrooms by Pool and Jacuzzi. Had to walk all the way to the room dripping to get a to a restroom. Needs a lounge or bar. Pillows and bed need help, couldn't get comfortable and the Aircon room temp was too hot or too cold. The fridge and Aircon were noisy, both kept waking me up at night.

The hotel has a great location, only 10 minutes by car from Laguna Beach, 30 minutes from Irvine and with plenty of restaurants just minutes away from the hotel. On El Toro Road, next to the San Diego Highway (405/5). Great breakfast (all kind of eggs, bacon, sausages...), Alejandro and the rest of the staff do a wonderful job every morning and are very patient. Free drinks (softs drinks, beers, wine) and snacks (pizza slices, salad, sliced fruit, cookies...) Tuesday through Thursday afternoons (5-7pm). Large beds, a lot of pillows but the setup of the room is a bit strange. No drawers, and just one closet. I kept all my clothes in the suitcase for 21 days.

Rooms are bit noisy: water pipes, garbage truck every morning at 6:00AM, and some construction work close by. I stayed in the hotel for 21 days so I changed room after some days. My first room was facing the trash containers, the truck woke me up every morning at 6. Coin laundry room on floor 3 is a bit expensive.

This was one of our favourites of the hotels we stayed at during a three week trip. We loved that it was in a quiet location and easy to reach the beach etc. Lots of parking spaces made parking really easy. We loved the pool, our young daughter used it a lot. Social hour was a bonus that we were not expecting and were very appreciative of. Our room was lovely and spacious and the staff (particularly those preparing hot food at breakfast) were very friendly. Hotel itself is really nicely decorated and appointed. Would recommend.

We would have loved it if the hotel provided evening dining options. There are food places nearby but we'd have found dining at the hotel useful when tired and travelling with a young child.
