We have came to this location twice now in a row it's our favourite place to go for our special moments in our relationship, this time we went for day after our wedding we had the Lakeview room and it was absolutely beautiful, we love coming and staying at Lakeview Motel the owner is the sweetest, very kind and available with any help

Nothing to do with Lakeview owners or motel but there was a few people talking out our door around 1am very loudly and disturbed us from sleep

everything was wonderful, Motel is old but very well maintained by Clint (manager) It is quiet and Clint keeps a good eye on things making it safe as well, If you need anything just ask and it will be provided by Clint or his staff

in my opion there was nothing to dislike, I have stayed here before and always had a great time. The only thing I would like to see is a guide for the T.V. channels in the room

Location: very nice, tucked away but near a gas station, and restaurants (Mexican restaurant horribly overpriced for so-so food) The Room: Very clean & cozy. Great beds ,& nice space for 4-5 people. The kitchen is a separate room & for a bit extra they put in a pullout, which fit comfortably. Also the door had a code so it truly was contactless. If in the area this will definitely be our go-to spot

One small dislike but definitely worth mentioning: There was one roll of tissue & that overpriced, so-so food, made that problematic.

Staff was very nice. The bed was comfortable, sheets were good quality. Location was perfect for us as our son lives in trailer park across the road. The facility is an older building, with older windows and a wall heater. The heater worked well anyways which was well appreciated since it was 29° outside. Location is perfect for access to the lake just down the road approx a mile. And the upper and lower Kern river access also just down the road. Centrally located to both. Facility was full the weekend we were there and even with it being an older building it was still quite and peaceful.

Age of biilding. Windows on the backside are a little scetchy. Looks easy to break in, so valuables being left behind probably not recommended. However the staff attended to facilities well and i felt safe while i was there sleeping.

very clean, great location and easy self check-in after online check-in. It is a bit outdated but that does not matter since it was just a place to sleep that was on our way to sequoia. Shower was great and there is parking in front of the rooms. We did not see any staff but the online check-in went easy and we got everything we needed to get acces to our room via mail.

It is dated but that is the charm. It was like going to a hotel in the 1950s. The room, kitchenette, and bathroom were clean. My only suggestion is to put a mattress pad over the cover on the twin bed. The cover it has makes it hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent.

If I could recommend one thing to improve comfortability would be handheld shower heads the showers are kind of tight and with big guy like myself that's my only complaint is the shower head and shower this phrase good it just doesn't give you enough

The lady that introduced herself as Gale was supernice! It was very nice and quiet. The showers are amazingly hot! I found myself taking extra long showers. I didn't see so much as a daddy long leg it was nice and clean . And there were even benches outside the Room so you could sit out and enjoy the night air. Which I did! I will definitely be going back when we go to visit in that area again.

The toilet and bathroom door are so close together that you can't open up the door all the way. And the little kitchen at area has so much Room but no little sink. So you have to take everything into the bathroom if you need to rinse it out or clean it or get water. Also the motel door just had the doorknob lock. I didn't have any fears but usually I'd like to have at least 2 locks on a door.

Made a great change for the other hotels that we used on our trip. Opportunity to meet fellow travellers sitting in porch area. Lake Isabella is a gem of a spot. Good starting point for a trip across Death Valley.

One of the rooms was a little smelly at first.

I love the home feeling of the hotel. I also like the location of hotel. Really convention that Dollar General is right next door and that a shell gas station a quarter mile down the road. I price of the rooms are decent. I like the support I received from the staff. I changed my room last minute, the front desk helped me make those changes.

The room is kind of outdated, the room has a musky smell, and I've had trash in my room a few time.
